    Resignation as a Moderator
Just to let you all know effective immediately I've asked to be relieved of my moderator duties here at BPNet. This is my own personal decision and I continue to fully support those that give their valuable time to serve this site and make sure that the members enjoy the high quality that is BPNet.

I am of course remaining as a member here so you all have to keep on putting up with me anyways LOL. :P

Thank god for that! Losing you as a mod is bad enough - I think a lot of folks including me would be rather grief-struck at the prospect of you dropping off the face of the site.

Keep on truckin' and do whatever you need to do to keep enjoying it here!!

Ohhhh pffft I'm not that important as a mod or a member LOL. Don't give me a swelled head or I'll have to do something goofy and human just so I don't think too much of myself (it's that Canadian self-effacement thing...we just hate being thought well of LOL :P )

Thanks for your kind thoughts though. I'll just put my feet up, be a member and occasionally pass out the happy face stickers to the newcomers (but I am NOT wearing the doofus greeter's vest!) :)

No Flair Items? No daily specials?

Would you hang out by the f/t section and give out little feeder samples to our shoppers? Bah I massacred that attempt at levity lol.

At any rate if I we ever bump into each other there's a pitcher of 'ritas on me right there!

Oh lovely I've gone from a newbie to a member to a mod and now to "that wierd chick over in the corner trying to hawk her baggies of half-defrosted rodents!" LMAO

I'll take you up on the offer of ONE margarita, Matt. A full pitcher and well put it this way....you get to hold my hair cuz Mike's done that job before and isn't about to want that experience again in this lifetime....nuff said LOL!

Don't you be sad Cue dear. I'll still be around to irritate, amuse and confuse the general populus. I've just retired the "witch stick" is all. :P

(Hehe ask Smynx sometime what happened last time I ordered a pitcher and wound up downing it myself lol.)

ahhhh i think this sucks. personally i liked having you to email and ask questions regarding moddie things... but alas, i'll go back to harrassing the others. :wuv:

regardless, YOU may not see yourself as a valuable member here but honestly... i never would have stayed here as a member if it hadn't been for your wonderfully supportive and friendly responses to people's posts. i just LOVE reading them! i actually wait patiently for you to post in something i've started, cause i always love to hear your opinion, thoughts and 'cheers' (depending on the thread of course LOL) :P

so here you go... i'll put in the aspirins!!! have a great night out!

    :wuv: :wuv: :wuv:

hope you didn't resign cause of our misbehaving ways... :spid0r: cause honestly, we could all be a LOT worse! :fishslap:

*Totally* an important member, Jo! I'm usually real hesitant and don't stick with forums very well, but you totally encouraged me and helped me out all the way. Now people can't shut me up! ;) Plus without you, I wouldn't have been pointed to Jamie for our little bundle of Gomez joy!

Ack now this is backfiring on me into some sort of mushy love in LOL. I didn't mean I'm not important, I meant I'm not any more important than any one of you. We all have our things to bring to and take from this forum whether we are Kara from NERD, Adam from 8Ball, little old me or somebody who doesn't even have their first snake yet.

If I've made a difference here, that's cool but every one of you makes a difference every time you ask a question, tell a joke, share a story, extend friendship to a newcomer or seek the advice of one of our more experienced members. You all help create a body of information that in my opinion is second to none on the internet. I firmly believe that that information moulds all of us into better keepers and probably saves a lot of herps from ending up in situations that aren't the best for them. Look at this hatching season and the lovely healthy ball pythons being hatched because folks learned here how to do it right....that's what it's all about.

Mike and I know that how we keep our collection and our enjoyment and pride in it is very much a part of what we learned and are still learning here. That folks is what you all did and are still doing...as a group...and I'm but a part of that and that is fine by me any day of the week.

Ack I'm all mushy now...geeze lois! Wysocki, Jamie, Cue, Vaughn...come on guys...crack a joke before this gets worse LOL

I often find myself wondering that EXACT thing! lol... J/K of course, Jo. Sorry to see ya go as a Mod. You definately never tread heavy like some mods do on other sites!

Glad you're staying around as a member though... Don't know if I could go without the Miss B, Miss O, and Miss S updates... as well as all the other kids.

Speaking of which... :hijackd: .... What's up with Camp Jo? When's Rauri going to Becky?

Good lord that's a whole thread in itself Ken LOL. Rauri was booked to head out last weekend. All set to meet up with Casey Hulse who kindly offered to handle the shipping Rauri. We've never shipped before and don't want to start with such a large snake so Casey being the great guy he is offered his services. All set till Mike's work schedule interfered that is. So right now we're madly trying to reschedule around Mike's work, when Casey is available, etc. Becky's dying to get Rauri home and as much as we'll miss the big fella, it's time for him to move on from us to his wonderful new forever home.

Nope, just means I've stuck around so long I've got mould growing on me! Actually I'm still a newbie Veteran, so if I've got mould on me...gawd knows what Wysocki has on him (but I hear the antibiotics take care of that real well :P )

Aw c'mon Jo......you can't take a pitcher of 'ritas???? I remember when the Texas Roadhouse frist opened up down here about four years ago...that's when they still had what me and my friend would affectionately call "fishbowl magaritas"...monster 48oz 'ritas!!! in 20 diff. flavors!!! We used to go every Friday....:carouse: . But, alas, they no longer serve the bigger sizes...:(. Oh well....and don't be a stranger!!!! Good luck with whatever you do...I gonna miss your *in best Eric Cartman voice* "YOU RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!" vibes...:giggle:
