i can hardly breathe, i'm so excited. i just purchased two kathy love corns... and considering i'm up in canada i think this is HUGE!!!!! :sunny:
so two little females are coming to live with me... an okeetee and a neon project normal! :carrot:
pics are coming... as soon as i get them home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i've dreamed of getting some of kathy's corns... dreamed but never in a million years thought it would ever be possible... and yet... i have two now!!!!!! two... and both females... how excited do you think i am? well i'm even more excited than that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG how do i wait even an hour to bring them home??? heehee i just can't. that simple. so... i think i'll be bringing them home tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know... i'm sitting here totally stunned and so excited about this i can't believe i'm this fortunate!!! well, it's confirmed, we are going to become breeders of corns! of course, that's a few years away and who knows what life will bring in the meantime but it's time for da mama to learn about genetics!

heehee, well i CAN get more... but i really don't have much more room (she says with a grin) i only planned to add one more corn to my collection... a normal... but then these gorgeous girls came along and ... well ... i couldn't resist!
well they are home! tiny... but home!
as you can see... this is my normal (neon phase) - couldn't get her to keep her head still... she was VERY excited to be out of her deli cup!
Her name is Annie! (cause she has some very gorgeous ancestors!)

soo tiny and cute!!! I'll be in that same boat in about a month or so (getting a pair born on 666 from joepythons).......can't hardly wait!!!

corns are soooo easy to care for. they are not nearly as fussy about temps and humidity! great pet for kids ;)

Other than that they are escape artists LOL (but then any baby colubrid is). Congrats on getting them home Aleesha. They are both truly lovely and you couldn't have gone with a better breeder.

tell me about it! i have some really thick shop towels folded over the edges of the top of the rubbermaid containers as there was the tiniest little space and guess who could fit thru it... yup that's right, our little annie! and since she's up in that space all the time so far... i had to get it covered. of course our unnamed okeetee is the same size so i had to 'pad' her pad as well LOL
