    He's a hisser...
My male, LaVey, did something way out of character today; I was lifting his hide off of him to remove his shed skin, and he hissed! He was pretty mad for some reason, and hissed again, loudly, when I went to pick him up. I guess he has become a rotten little snake, hehe. It was such a loud hiss, my boyfriend heard it in the other rooim, over the TV noise.
I guess sometimes you just catch them at the wrong moment..

I have a couple that hiss all the time and then a couple that will hiss when startled. Its kind of funny because BPs are so NOT scary...

That little girl I had posted down in classifieds is a hisser. You'd be suprised at the big sound that can come out of that little body. Also the dark girl my fiance gifted me with is a hisser.

I have a male that hisses ALL the time. Never bites. Just tries to act big and bad.

I have a girl that just bites with no hissing.

I think I would rather have the hissing.:D

When big Ms Brannagh was in her bite anything that moves stage she never once hissed. Mike figured that she wasn't about to give us any warning LOL.

My new girl Twix lets out some REALLY big and loud hisses...I think she is going to be one of those really "apprehensive" girls....she stares at me all the time through her cage....motionless.

The only loud noise (in fact, the only noise) Cleo has ever created was an ear-splitting fart...

We cut back on her mouse burritos after that. /nod

My hybrid het albino male (HeMan) is a major hisser. Holy!!! He hisses as soon as I open the cage and he is really loud. The problem is that his bite IS worse than his bark...lol.

lol. Yep, LaVey decided to hiss at me again last night, but once I got him out he was fine. I think he would rather not be handled, but I have to annoy him once in awhile :)
