Just when you thought you heard it all...
I found this on another forum that I visit:

"Mine will only take F/T that are thawed the old fashioned slow way - as soon as its totally thawed I put it under the ceramic lamp for a couple minutes, then this is weird - I have to rub the dead rat on my hands and arms before trying to feed Josephine otherwise if she smells me she won’t feed." :bolt:

uummmmmmm.....ohhhhhhkay. The truly puzzling thing is how anyone would have thought of that "trick" to begin with. And that they would believe a little bit of rubbing on the hands and arms would completely mask their human scent. :confuzd: Ahhhh well...it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round, as they say. People with funny ideas keep things interesting!

If I dont sing "Pretty Woman" off-key to my one female she won't eat. If I stop partway through she will stop constricting and just leave the prey there until I start singing again. It is SUCH a pain in the bum.

Hmm... maybe she's onto something. If her technique ever catches on maybe I'll start my own line of "Eau du Rat" cologne, body spray, bath oil, etc. :new: :rat:

Her snake also goes everywhere with her and LOVES to ride in the car - I'm not lying about that! AND she's lost Josephine (who's a male) twice in two weeks from falling asleep with her!

Egads! Wonder how hard she is rubbing it?

When we were pre-ratropolis I would have to hold the head/nose of the rat close to o heat lamp for a few seconds to brighten up the thermal signature in order to get a few of ours to take it.

I heard about that - that's pretty strange - wonder if it comes in a star-shaped pump dispenser?

Yup you can buy a bottle of Eau de Playdough, for $19.95. Of course you can roll in the stuff for under $5. That would be funny if it was in a star shaped dispenser. Or maybe it has a funny head on the top that you have to push down to dispense. ;)

You're kidding me, Eau de Playdough? Why would anyone buy that? Walking around a store, then suddenly *Eau de Playdough* 'Hey honey, isn't this great?! I smell like a kindergarten class room!' Bleh, can you tell I don't like playdough? :P

LOL...I think playdough is great...but I still don't want to smell like it! However...I can think of a few people in my life that would be worth $20 just to see the look on their face when they unwrap that "gift!"

That is a good idea! :D I can think of a few myself. Of course Playdough is the bane of my existence. :evileye: It gets everywhere!! Grrrrr. Of course I still let the kids play with it, since they love it so much.
