    Crazy question, but...
Has a Ball Python ever killed an adult human being?
I'm only asking this, because some lame person on the Internet has wished death on me by having my BP (when he's full grown) constrict me to death. Lovely huh? I laughed when I read that.
I watched a snake show on Animal Planet a few weeks back on big snakes and they were talking about how giant pythons can and have killed people, but never have I heard of a BP killing someone.

No. There has never been a case of a BP killing a human being, at least not anything documented. And I can't imagine even a really big female being able to kill an adult human. Just isn't gonna happen.

Along those same lines, I haven't even seen anything substantial about a Boa Constrictor killing a person, although a large one is probably more than capable.

Unless that person were a quadraplegic who fell asleep lying next to a BP burrow in Africa.

I'd be ineterested to see the forum where this person wished such an improbable fate upon you. You've got a better chance of being killed by an infection acquired from lacerating your tongue with a rusty grapefruit spoon (or alternatively a dirty spork).

Wonder if it is possible for one to wrap tight enough around your neck to clamp up the carotids and make you pass out (I remember as kids we used to put sleeper holds on each other and it never seemed to take too much pressure to actually make the person pass out). A beefy girl like Sesha can clamp some smack down - but if you let any snake keep tightening around your neck and don't try to remove it . . well you might have some other sorts of autoasphyxiation issues ;)

Anyone who eats those horrible grapefruits probably deserves what they get! :)

No need to fear your BP. Fear the reaper... :)

I'm not one who allowes my snake (soon to be snakes) around my neck. Now if I ever did and felt that it may be tightening up, of course any right minded person would try to remove it, unless like you said... they have some issues. ;)

The phrase "we traced the call and its coming from inside your house" would seem applicable to this person.

Quick Allison - lock the doors!

If you click on the picture it should open up to be full screen size and not all bunched together.

So it does! What an idiot that person is. I think you should tell her that you hope she slips in a puddle of herpes...

Alternately, you could just don your 3-D glasses.

    ROFL@Herpes.

When I started telling everyone about my hopeful PhD in herpetology, people continued to ask if I was studying herpes. I wanted to hurt them...

When I lived in India we called it Delhi-Belly (amoebic dysentery) - of course that was usually an "all-exits" illness lol.

Does that forum usually have folks wishing varied deaths upon each other? I'll take the one from the beginning of Monty Python's "Meaning of Life".
