Aww, dang he looks terrible. Ft Wayne is only about an hour from me. I might give them a call if no one has gotten him.

I just filed an adoption application. This place usually only has cats and dogs---they're application reflected that---so I doubt they know how to properly care for a snake. The application said they'd respond within 48 hours.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the adoption goes through!! That poor little baby!!! Actually, it probably will go through. If they have no expirience with snakes they will probably want to adopt him out to someone who does. Please keep us updated!!

That is a terrible shame......you'd think, being an adoption place even if they themselves didn't know anything about snakes, would contact someone who does, or at least reasearch it on the web so that they may properly care for it while in there posession....:(

Look closely in the full-body shots... he's been bitten, too, and is bleeding. He's going to need some serious healing.

I haven't heard anything from them yet.

Well since this bp doesn't belong to any of us only the rescue could tell you if it's still available. Also another member above already submitted an application though I'm not sure what the status is on that. Someone in the know will probably be around to update eventually.

I'm ready to make an offer to help out that poor snake. Whomever gets it, I'll offer to send via paypal, 75.00 towards its vet bills. I want that poor guy to get better.

I just checked the link and it says the snake has been adopted. Did anyone from here get it? Hopefully it went to an experienced herper's home and will get the good care it so obviously needs and deserves.
