not that i've noticed. Once I get a whiff of a icky smell, I usually find a poopie in the cage.

they can give off an odor from their anal gland..so ive read, its like a defense mechenism, a fourm I visited suggested water snakes do it often. If pythons do it...I dunno.

the humdity really brings out the smell of any fecal matter left in my cage...remember the larger your snake gets the larger their 'droppings' get so with that you can kind of expect what smells will arise from your enclosure.

I use astro turf for Khan, newspaper for Lola and shredded newspaper for my rats. I cant stand the smell of shavings. yuck!

I mean can you imagine the blahhness if we cut out jokes about balls?

No harm done. I dont necessarily think it is offensive to anyone but they have been going on for a while and some people are getting tired of it because it is so old. No harm done and i know it is all for fun.

I gotta admit the low-brow double-entendres are getting pretty old. Just to change the subject, does anyone know anything about making a hammock for my python?

    like ones for iguanas?

I have those suction fake plants used for fish tanks, I just attatch it in the corner on one end on each side of the tank, and khan wraps a little around it but mostly lays across it. looks neat if you have a lot of fake plants in your set up.
