marmalade is just insane--she isn't even all the way fired up in that pic! when totally fired up she is even brighter orange and her dorsal flame turns bright yellow. this year i am breeding her for her color (she and bisket are paired with julius) and i think next year i may breed her for her spots--if i can find a worthy super dalmation male. :P

Marmalade and Moe? =D

moe does have a good amount of large spots, but i'm talking crazy spots, all over! one of my hatchlings actually has a ton of spots (out of nowhere too! mom and dad don't have those spots.) so i'm holding it back for now to see what happens... ultimately i would LOVE to breed her with a red tiger super dalmation, but um, i'm not sure if i've even seen one of those before if there is even one out there, so that might have to wait. :P

these two look exactly like my flip and flop :)

here's the little one who is getting the spots--i swear they weren't there a week ago and then all the sudden pop, pop, pop! it has spots! if it keeps getting more and/or they get bigger it'll be a keeper for sure. :)

I'll let you know if I ever see that my new one has eaten!! He pooped last week but that is the only one I have seen. I make him fresh food every night. Its nerve wracking!!

i'm sure he is eating some, sometimes it's just so little that you can't really tell. maybe you can hand feed him some? just dab a little food on the tip of his nose and let him lick it off. i use a tiny spoon and dab their noses with some food, then when they start to lick it off i hold the spoon up so that they can continue to lick food out of the spoon. with hatchlings and other geckos that are jumpy or haven't eaten cgd before it doesn't always work the first time--they just want to jump away or rub the food off of their nose, but by the second or third time they start to realize that it is food and start lapping it up. :lick:
