for what it's worth, i was a fan when they were reffered to as the dead wings ;)

Forget the dead wings, how about someone different for a change, like the Sharks? O.K., really, I'd be happy with the Senators taking it all. Just so long as it isn't The Flyers, Red Wings, Predators, or Rangers.

Let's just say things were tense around here till the goal that won that game Christie LOL Then Mike hollered so loud I think the new neighbours a block away must have heard it.

Playoffs...the season we all live for LOL. Did I ever mention I managed to give birth to young Mikey during the playoffs 5 years ago (he turned 5 just yesterday) and not miss a game (they raise us Canadian women right!). Watched the game Saturday night, went into labour that night, had Mikey by noon on Sunday, went home Monday afternoon and watched the next game on tv that night. Mikey was about 32 hours old when him and Mike watched their first Red Wings playoff game together.

Lets just say the Rangers ate it last night. Horrible game!

Wings are in game 2 of the series with the Edmonton Oilers right this minute (score is currently 3 to 2 for them so Mike is not pleased atm).

Nope Judy Mikey hasn't had a hockey themed birthday party yet though the poor kid is so used to everything being hockey, hockey, hockey that when his dad sat down to watch the Super Bowl awhile back and hollered to Mikey that the game was on....the poor kid ran out, jumped on his dad's lap and automatically pumped his fist in the air and screamed..."GO WINGS!"

yeah and Jagr got injured. Im a nashville and Avs fan, dont know why though? Probably cause Nashville is like my local team (well sort-of)

I am a Capitals fan first and then ( always has always will ) a Devils fan. So things in my house are tense.

I think everyone in the East better look out for the Sabres, who I think just may walk away w/ the east.

Over in the west I am looking at the Flames or the Sharks ( love me some Ron Wilson)

They will be ok..Jagr could play and no decision has been made that I am aware on Weekes. I think you go right back to Lundqvist. Sabres are AWESOME. I like the Sharks a lot in the West. Thornton and ChooChoo or Chechoo or whatever his name is!

My perdiction is that it will be either Calgary vs Ottawa or Calgary vs Carolina

If Montreal beats Carolina again tonight I'm gonna FREAK!:O I have 10 bucks riding on that series so Carolina better not mess it up!

Stayed up waaaaaaaay too late last night watching the Wings vs Oilers. What a heartbreak to have two Wings goals disallowed but stuff happens. Good series though.

Stranger things have happened. Don't count my Rangers out yet. Regardless, I think Buffalo comes out of the east and Sharks in the west. Get ready for an awesome finals!!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the Devils and Ottawa for the east, with the Devils taking it because of superior goaltending. For the west, I like the Avs or the Sharks.

well the wings got things tunred aruond and the oilers have or had the best chance at stoping them in the west so i'll worry till this round is over. then it should be in for a nice long run see the winner from the east in the finals and win in five.

I would be more scared of the Oilers, Sharks and Flames than the Avs.


And no one in the NHL as a goalie is Roy, Roy was a God!!!!

Brodeur is pretty close to Roy. Patrick was in a class by himself though. Lets face it though, Legace is nothing to write home about either, and the Red Wings should have the Ben-Gay logo on their jerseys, they're so freakin' old, for crisake. the longer that series drags out, the worse it is for the Wings.

Rough end to a very good season for the Rangers. Injuries and sudden poor play. As is normally the case with them, see ya next year! Lets go Buffalo!! I hate the Devils and definitely despise Philly.
