Litter dropped!

Well, last week I got home during lunch to find my Albino female dropped a bad litter, all slugs & still borns from that litter! :(

Today I get home to find my Normal Boa dropped her litter a day earlier than predicted, looks like 20+ live, 3 slugs. :D


All nice and healthy full term babies! She was bred to my TJ Hypo male from Jeff Ronne and I already see my pic of the group!

I'll let them relax till I get home from work and then start splitting them up, get a final count on total along with Hypos and Normals, place them in their own tubs, take pics, etc.

That is one of the grossest, most adorable scenes I have seen!!! Congrats!! and heres :carouse: to healthy babies!!!

that thing looks like it starts at the head as normal then goes to hypo!!!???

Thanks, remember these are only 12hrs hours old. They haven't had their 1st shed yet. Colors really don't start to show till those first couple sheds, I'll post pics of a few after they shed.

Congrats on such a nice big healthy litter Gerry! It's going to be a lot of fun watching what you produce this year. They are such lovely babies, can't wait to see the colors after a few sheds.

It's been 9 days since these babies dropped and already 9 out of 26 have shed this morning.

I also offered them some fuzzy mice a little while ago. 14 out of the 26 snatched them up within a minutes or so. I'm sure the rest will go down the hatch by tomorrow morning as more go through their shed.

I'm going to have a tough time picking a holdback Hypo, I've still got 2-3 Hypos that haven't shed yet that I'm waiting for!

Oh my goodness, so adorable! and so pretty! ONE day, when i have all the room a herp freak wants, i will totally be getting into boas

I love Boas, no muss no fuss!!

Every time I walk in the reptile room I notice a few more have shed and a few more have eaten! So far, I've got 17 out of the 26 have eaten just by dropping a fuzzy mouse in the tub. Gotta love boas!

I'm still waiting on 10 left to shed, I'm sure these will shed over the night and all would have eaten their 1st meals by tomorrow morning.

Hopefully when I have baby Ball Pythons they'll be this easy. :rolleyes:

Oh Gerry they are all so sweet but those Hypo's....just...wow!
