Spring flower pictures (dial-up no no)
It has been a very wet Spring out here in California, but we got a couple days of sunny weather. I figured I would get some flower pics of the front yard while I had the chance. Of course I had to throw in a couple Ball pics as well. ;)

Thanks, I think it's some kind of daisy. It stays pretty low.

Thanks all! I'm having a fun time with my new camera (Canon A610), but I still need work with getting the focus right for my macro shots. Flowers seem to be much easier than Balls for some reason. :snake:

I love California Poppies, oh yes I do!

    Pluses to living in California:
+ No snow! (well, at least where I live)
    + California Poppies!
+ Most produce is pretty cheap!

    Minuses to living in California:
    - Housing prices
    - Utility prices
    - Gas prices
    - No Vidalia onions...(this is a biggie)

    I miss Vidalias.../sigh

I've never seen Vidalias for sale in So. Cal in the 12 years I've lived here...I pay through the nose for Maui Sweets since they are the closest thing to them.

Oh and bell peppers are STUPIDLY expensive. So cheap back home...=P

But meat is cheap; best beef ever (it's why Rick lives in the U.S., so he claims!).
