    Thank You, Adam!
Gah. I swear, everytime I hear something nice pertaining to Adam, I go and check out his collection. (I'm goin' to buy one of his hatchlings...one day. -Dreamy Eyes.-)

Anyways. Tonight I was going to use a method of removing shed that Adam had on his website. I sort of freaked out because Ophelia looked so...depressed, so I called Adam to make sure she would be fine, sort of well-knowing in my heart that she would be.

He sat on the phone with me for about half-an-hour/forty-five minutes and explained not only her situation to me, but we discussed racks, Ody's behavior, and anything else that came to mind while I was on the phone.

I just wanted to thank Adam again for being a truly passionate person about these beautiful reptiles.

Thank you, darlin', for being there for the people who love them just as much as you do. -Big hugs.-

    Melanie,

    You're very welcome!

It was a pleasure talking with you tonight! ... It was awesome hearing about your snakes and your plans ... I could almost feel your passion for these amazing animals ooze through the phone!

I hope that shed gets all worked out and that big ole girl is feeling better! ;)

Don't ever hesitate to call if you have questions or want to just shoot the breeze about ball pythons. ;)

-Dies!- She's loving every minute of shedding. I about fell out of my chair when I heard the rustling of dry skin.

She's not a great shedder, but it's coming off in HUGE chunks which is sooo much better than before. -Dances around.- Her face is sooo gorgeous!

Your king of the hill in here, like it or not man :D Unfortunately the Hyenas will be snapping at your ankles all the time. I appreciate all the advice you give around here and I have no interest what so ever in knowing what :cens0r: tastes like, lol :D Fankly I think the whole thing in the other thread came about because you didn't like "someones" avatar ;)

Edit: posting this in here cause the other thread was closed before I could get to it and this thread seemed relevant :)

I'm going to second that. Adam is a class act in my book. He has probably spent a total of 2-3 hours on the phone with me teaching and educationg. We also shot the bull quite a bit too. I really enoyed talking to him. Adam is a true asset to this community.

She's completely finished shedding and looking like her normal gorgeous self. When I opened the lid to see the finished product she immediately arched up and pressed her face to mine. I think she was quite happy with the results as I was.

    Melanie,

    Congratulations on the shed!

I can't agree with the comments about Adam any more! (and I did see the last comment that was made towards me before the other thread got yanked - btw)

In any case - I agree that Adam is a community asset, as well as a good friend!

They really do seem happy with themselves after shedding...

She immediately curled up into my arms and was rubbing all over me. It was adorable. And the kisses! Ah. I love baby kisses. I spent an hour just rubbing her body down, trying to relax her, but the entire time she just wanted to EXPLORE! "Oooh. I'm so pretty, but what's that? Oooh. Grandma! Hello Grandma. Aren't I pretty?"

Adam truly made my night. ^_^

When I decided to get back into snakes I studied the market and determined that ball pythons where the right snakes for me. I studied the forums and various breeder sites for a couple of months first. Adam's name came up many times as being a responsible keeper/breeder/seller. I studied his posts and site. I liked what I saw and could see what other people saw in him. I put together my inquires and shot them out all over the place. The responses ranged from total blowoff to excellent(his being the excellent). This made the choice easy for me. He has have totally blown me away with his service, before and after the sale, and I foresee him making his move to the top in no time at all.

    Here's to 8ballpythons.com :carouse:

I'd have to say, I've bought ball pythons from some of the "big" breeders, from expos and from Adam.

Adam not only has the best packaging, willingness to help and great communication, he also has the best quality snakes that I've seen!!
I am looking forward to doing much more business with him!!
    You rock Adam!

You won't find a more dedicated guy out there. I called Adam one night to discuss something and ended up on the phone for an hour and a half talking about the Ball Python market, breeding, business and everything under the sun. Thanks as always man!

I think him being so nice is just a secret plan to get people to come to his shop and work for free. I think he found that ball python people are the most gullible. Truth be told, his REAL passion is the gerbils in the storage room.

What, are you guys talking about the same Adam that sent me my snakes in a manilla envelope USPS bulk rate? Of course when I called to ask if they were supposed to look all folded and spindled, he suddenly came down with Laryngitis and couldn't talk with me. Sheesh! He did give me a good deal on a Herpstat thermostat, though. Unfortunately the thing broke after a week. :8:

Seriously though, Adam rocks! Too bad he lives 3K miles away or else I would be hanging around his place all the time. :partyon: :carouse: :hokitty:

hahaha, its not so bad, i'd pay to look at adams... snakes {not starting that one again} so working for free and seeing them for free... seems like a fair trade! HAHA yes, he is passionate about his gerbils, death threats are a form of passion! the look in his eyes when I discovered a dead one was priceless. that being said, Adams an awesome breeder and an awesome person. I'm just glad I found him before I found out first hand how shady the BP business can be.
