My albino female weighs 2100 grams and went off feed approximately 8 weeks ago when she first copulated with the male. The have copulated 5 times in that period. The past couple of days she started to swell up, it doesnt show up as well in the pics. I have seen the pics of other ovulations and thought I would get some feedback here.

Not sure on the ovulation but she looks big and healthy! Hope you get a bunch of babies!!!

Well the areas above and below the area pictured are smaller than this area. She used to be uniform in thickness from mid body down. Now she has this visual lump in the bottom third, I will try to post another pic from a different angle. Do they have any visible swelling just before ovulation?

see if she goes into a shed cycle in the next few days.....once she sheds....start counting down to eggs!

Thanks for the link Jamie. She is definitely in the build. She has the lump and the look of just eating a good meal, but hasnt eaten in awhile. Even though it is not as noticeable in the picture, it is quite noticeable in person. ;)

It definitely looks like a build to me. I would say look for an ovulation in the next 7-14 days. You will know, she will swell twice as big as that.

Looking Good. I would say you could look for a shed in the next few weeks. How much does she weigh? Did you palpate for follicles, how many did you feel? Make sure you post some pics of the eggs.

She weighs 2100 grams. I didn't palpate for the follicles I am a little reluctant to mess with her. You can count on pics!! I love the pics!! :sweeet:

She definitely ovulated last night, she swelled up like that within 2 or 3 hours from when I had checked on her last. She still looked like that when I went to bed last night, this morning the swelling has evened out a little bit down her tail. Should get a pre lay shed next (17 days?)!! I feel like a little kid in a candy store!!

Congrats! But she's now reminding me of a talk show I saw the other day, one of the silly ones with parents who have 200lbs. 5 year olds :P ;)

Here is an updated pic of my big albino girl. She has evened out and is starting to show the "tail suck". She is also just starting to get the ridgeback that gravid girls get. ;)

Here is another pic of my girl, she has part of her body on her hot spot. In the center of the pic you can kind of see a couple of lumps. Her ridge on her back is becoming more pronounced. Prelay shed is supposed to be 17-21 days after ovulation, it has been 8 days so far.

She's huge! Can you tell how many eggs she may have in her?

I never palpated her, but I'm guessing 3-5. :)

Here is an updated pic of my albino girl. It has been 14 days since her ovulation and a couple of days ago her belly turned pink. So she is getting ready to shed as you can tell by her "muted" color. She should shed in 3-7 days. She has been staying on the warm side of her tub more also. :D

Her boyfriend is a hypoxanthic albino male that originally came from MKR. I thought with her genetics this would be an interesting pairing. He has even more intense colors than she does. :)
