    Hottest/best morph?
What is considered the hottest, most popular, best investment morph today? I don't know if that description is worded properly, because hottest and most popular doesn't necessarily reflect a good investment.

In any case, what do you consider the #1 BP morph today?

I think he's talking about the Blue Eyed Leucistic, but I suppose it could also mean the Black Eyed Leucistic, too. ;)

I guess you guy's are right the lesser plat would be number one . Can't afford and would probably never buy one at that price even if I was incredibly comfortable. I guess for my price range the Pied's , Hypo's albino's and caramel's are the hottest. Not to mention Super pastel , if I had to pick one I'd pick the pied.

    Re: Hottest/best morph?
You grouped hottest, most popular, and best investment all in one....ha ha...all ball pythons are hot, popular, and good investments! Now for the top of each group...I think....

The Hottest.......Coral Glow.....There is nothing else like it....not many around either ;)

The Most Popular...you can't go wrong with Pieds! Pieds will always be one of the most popular morphs....and they are even more popular now since this years crosses were wicked! I have the facts to support it too...Pieds ranked #1 in this poll:
    http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....poll&pollid=19

The Best Investment........Axanthics, hypos and pieds rock!!! Mixing traits is the future of ball python morphs...and recessives are necessary!! Recessive crosses will take the most time and work, so all the posers won't be able to exploit recessive combos for a quick buck.

For me the jury is still out on the black eyed lucy ... If the orange blotches and black dots that appear randomly and in varying degrees over the body can be eventually removed through selective breeding, then there is definitely appeal for me ... If I'm going to invest in white snakes, I want SOLID WHITE snakes :pinkele: ... but even then I'd still be primarily a Super Lesser guy because the fire crosses that have been made to date don't hold a candle to the crosses RDR and NERD have done with lessers.

And just a heads up Chris, a mod might come along and ding your post for posting a picture that isn't yours ... I've gotten tagged for this in the past, TOS thing ... I'm pretty sure the rule is "linking to" is OK, put "posting of" isn't??? Oh well, what do I know? :P

Hmmmm, IMHO, the hottest morph - unproven still, I believe - is the Sunset ball.

It seems the lesser has most of the votes, is it just because the doors it unlocks?

I personally like the Pieds and Lavender Albino Pieds along with bumble bees and Super Pastels. These are simply eye candy to me!! I know they aren't the most expensive, but I would just love to see these in my reptile room every morning!!

pieds and LAP'S are awesome too! to me there is something about those bright blue eyes, they seem to stare through you. bees are cool to! so many to choose from, that's what's cool, a morph for everyone to like!!!

my personal favorite at the moment that has a reasonable price has to be the spider. i just wuv the gold with the black pinstripe designs!!!:wuv: but my super favorite has to be the blue-eyed lucy, ill have to try to make my own one day with a couple lessers from RDR or Adam or NERD.

There's a man after MY heart. ^_^ I think normals are the most beautiful of all of the ball pythons. They may not be the most exotic, but they're the most beautiful simply because that's what we were basically originally playing with. At least most of us.

If I -had- to pick one though, it'd be the piedbald. They're just...adorable. They look like someone dumped bleech on a normal and said, "WOOT! That looks cool!" That, and albinos. Albinos of any kind, really.

I was simply teasing. I don't expect a respectable breeder to give any of their animals away. That would be silly. Half price would be nice though. ^_^

well, since almost all are super way out of my price range, i'd have to stick with the faves i MIGHT be able to someday afford...which is albinos. love em' and always will. If I would ever win the lottery, i would have to invest in some blue-eyed leucy's...i just love pur white snakes!!! until that day comes, I'll have to settle with the much cheaper version; 1. my BEL rat snakes,2. drooling over laminated(yes, laminated) pics of BEL BP's posted in my snake room and on the door to my snake room.
