Took the boys to the park this weekend....(major DU warning!)

I like to "let the snakes explore their natural world" sometimes, just to get a little more stimulation than what's inside their cage. So, I took them to the park on one of those warm days and had a picnic lunch too.
I was "showing" Percy a flower to see what he'd think....

Amazingly enough, Percy is my little biter..he was very well behaved and did not even strike at me even once the whole trip!!!

Enjoy!!...can't wait till end of April beginning of May....this beautiful park will be just bursting with tulip trees and rolling hills full of yellow daffodils.....

How do you handle all those snakes. If they're anything like my kids I'd be running all over the place catching up to one and yelling at the other one to stay out of the water:D

Those are awesome pictures! Love all the flower shots, but the one by the water, I think, is especially beautiful. Looks like he's gazing out over the water, contemplating the meaning to some deeply philosophical question. (Such as whether grey rats taste better than white ones... LOL)


I would be SO paranoid about taking my snakes out to someplace like that. I'm a nervous wreck just taking them out into the back yard! LOL Always afraid they'll dash off suddenly and get away from me or get stuck down a drain or something equally inaccessible.

The park is very "open" with no real place for them to sueeze into and be unaccessable, and for the first 20 mins or so we were there, we had the whole park to ourselves. Also, i didn't have all three boys out at the same time...just one at a time, then back in the "toasty snake transporter". they were all very curious, but i kept a hawk's eye on them at all times.

Ohhh - I LOVE Percy! His head pattern is so unique (or at least to me it is)!

At the expense of sounding like a broken record, I just wanted to say that the head and neck pattern of Percy are very interesting looking. I woul love to see pics of his siblings.

They're all beautiful. I personally think that Maximus and Havoc are my favorite, but I'm sort of partial to that kind of coloration.

I CAN'T wait until the weather warms up. This is about the time Ophelia gets restless and wants to explore outside.

Thank you very much for posting that picture of Gambit. He is a very attractive ball python. It appears that his head pattern is very similar to Percy's. He also has a very intersting body pattern, and good looking colors. If you produced them, what did the parents look like? Also, will you be breeding those parents again? If so, I would very much like to buy one of the female offspring. Thanks again for the pics.

Oooh man! that's horrible. I think something that sets us apart is our love for snakes, and you can't help but want to terrorize people who don't have the respect for them. Meh. I'll just behave and maybe bring Ophelia to work some time. Boss has been begging me. O_o

I take my snakes out when it is nice, and I have never had a problem.
