aaaaw yeah!
i just went in to check on everyone and one of my females just completed her post-ovulatory shed! she is all coiled up nice and neat soaking up the heat and looking FAT. :D out of the 3 girls that i bred this season she is the only one that i am sure is gravid (with my newb breeding skills here i'm pretty much not guessing on it until it's pretty dang obvious). i am SO thrilled! she was bred to my orange hypo, so let's hope for bunches of female hets! the countdown has begun... :bounce:

Re: aaaaw yeah!
If you're excited now, wait till the eggs show up. Just have those sick days handy for when you get that "seeing" disease. Can see your self going to work....LOL:P Best of luck to you and ALL of those females......

Re: aaaaw yeah!
Hmmmmmm, methinketh that a road trip to Tybee Island/Savannah area is in order soon! Awww heck, I've been looking for an excuse to go to Tybee Island this year anyway! LOL
I want to come and see the babies!!!!! :)
-
Re: aaaaw yeah!
you are more than welcome to come see the beebies when they hatch. :P
honestly though tybee's not all that great. it's ok for a day trip but there really isn't anything there and the beach is kind of dirty. hilton head on the other hand is fabulous. you could stay in savannah (MUCH cheaper than h.h.) and do a day trip up there or something... :sunny:

Re: aaaaw yeah!
Actually, this is the first year in about six that I haven't gone to Tybee in April. I run an adoption related support group in Georgia (for adult adoptees and birth family members in search or reunion - I'm adopted if that wasn't figured out! LOL). And one of our members owns a motel on the island and let's us stay for free or really cheap ($10 a night).
I think because it's a group of us and we just hang out all night talking and drinking - it's fun and compared to Atlanta, the slow pace is refreshing - plus yummy seafood (has Williams re-opened yet?).
We're not going this year, so Daytona is our (Karl's and mine) Tybee this year! LOL

Re: aaaaw yeah!
ooh well that's cool. tybee's not worth it if you are just coming for the beach itself but that does sound like a good time. :) william's has not yet reopened. i know they plan to, but don't know when that will be. daytona ought to be a pretty rockin' replacement for tybee this year. :D
