I see just about everyone weighs their BP's. What do you use? Where do you get one?

Re: Scale?
I picked up a digital kitchen scale at WalMart the other day. It was under $30. Haven't tried to use it yet, though, as my bp is just now settling into her new home. :D

Re: Scale?
I picked up a pretty good one on Ebay. It all depends how high you need it to go and the increment. You want something that is by the gram (not 5 or 10) and if you are going to breed, one that gets to at least 3000 gms. Hope this helps..

Re: Scale?
I got mine off of Amazon for I think $30. It works great and can go up to 10 pounds.
I got mine from old will knot.. excellent scale. I got the 35lb one... but it measures in increments of 2g.

I picked up the 7001 DX from LLL, it weighs up to 7000 grams...so I know I have plenty of range there that I can use. :)

Re: Scale?
This is the scale we are thinking of buying. It goes up to 7,000 grams (15 lbs) in 1 gram increments and you can order the optional AC adapter. I've always heard excellent reports on this company so this is our first choice (they do sell a huge range of scales)
I'm with JLC.....I got mine at walmart. It is important though, to get one that weighs grams, because smaller BP's and babies gain/lose weght in such small increments, a pound or ounce scale would be practically useless. In my opinion, a digital one is the easiest. I paid about $25-$30 for mine, and I have also seen digital scales at Staples and Office Max.
