It depends on the species. Some are pretty easy to keep while others are more difficult

The bite of most of the Scolopendra species is considered dangerous isn't it?

Very cool pics, I always thought it was interesting how scorpions carry their babies. It would be cool to see it in your own collection.

Its alot of fun breeding scorpions. Some species are fairly challenging while others seem more difficult to kill than keep alive.

Scorpions typically do not feed their young while they carry them. The young will stay on their back until about 2nd instar and then they will leave and being feeding on their own.

Congrats on the pede eggs..good luck with them!

That is a lot of Centruroides margaritatus, any idea how many she had?

Did you breed the T. serratus, or did the female produce by herself? If i remember correctly that's a paranethgenotic (spelling way off) sp, right?

LOL Christie! Well as much as many folks think snakes are ugly, evil critters and I try to show them different...I'm trying to expand my own limits of what is interesting. Bugs, spiders, scorpions...oh my! (but hey I'm trying folks! LOL)

Very lovely pictures Brian. I'm sure you're very pleased with the breedings and it must be a very wonderful thing to watch the process. Congrats on your many new babies.
