i believe its so that they can get credit for the pic/bp and that way somebody doesn't try copyrighting it

kinda how proffessional photographers put their names in the corner of pics

I think it was being insinuated that the pictures werent taken by snow, hence, why the name.

oh sorry i must have misread or something :oops:

They were actually taken by Snowballs/Tim Bowles but the animals belong to Jared Carr. It's a shame that he leads people to believe that they are indeed his and doesn't give the actual owner of the snakes any credit at all.


I think Jared is shocked that this happened because the pictures weren't supposed to be used in the manner in which they were. :mad:

There is a thread on fauna if you guys havent seen it.

Browsing his site he has those exact pictures under his morph link, and there is no indication that they don't actually belong to him,and no credit is given towards jared for the use of his animanls pics on the site.


Leading people on is not the way to do ethical business. Shame shame.

Read the Fauna thread and you'll understand better. Search for "Snowballs" and you should pull it up (on Fauna Classified's webpage).

I just received an email from jared stating those are indeed his animals.

That level of deceptive misrepresentation is pretty shocking and certainly won't be tolerated.

*Sigh* Would it really have been SUCH a big deal to say: "Hey guys, check out these pics I took of Jared Carr's snakes!"

This guy appearantly has a horrible reputation over on Fauna and has even made subtle threats against other users, so they have claimed (I didn't see any of these messages so...). But nonetheless, heads up everyone, looks like this guy was testing the waters on our own site........

Yeah, little Timmy is quite a piece of work...I advise all to stay away from him. Do a Fauna search on him and you'll see why.

Those are indeed Jareds snakes I was at Jareds the night he took the pics. I was alerted to this by another member thats why I posted a comment about Tim B. on another website. I suggest everyone stay as far away from this guy as possible. The one thing I can say is that Tim did take these pics but they are NOT his animals.

EDIT by JLC: This is a family friendly site, so please watch the language, even the veiled "edited" cursing is really the same thing as just doing it straight out. We're not here to participate in the hot e-drama that surrounds Tim and those he's hurt. Please don't bring personal attacks here...just lay out facts if you have them and let that be enough. Gee Bowles still has them pictured on his site. It would be just like him to keep them up even though he knows that Jared doesn't want that.

I wonder how long he will leave them up before he accepts responsibility for misleading Jared and takes them down like a responsible person...

No you can't get sued unless you use them to sell your own product. Bowles has done this before to different people but the last time it happened his webhosting company shut his site down until he took the guys stuff off of it. Jared let Bowles take the pictures but Bowles wasn't supposed to post them anywhere, and he definately wasn't supposed to lead people to believe they were his own animals.

I believe that Jared has already asked Bowles to take them off his Morphs page and Bowles said something like he was the author of the photographs so he could do what he wants with them...typical attitude of this guy.

I don't even know if I want to get into this but techinicly, Tim has rights to the photos he took unless there was some sort of contract involved. Professional photographers will only give their clients complete ownership of the photos for big bucks... just my two cents

Technically speaking since they had a prior agreement that Tim could not post them on his site, nor any others that would fall under a verbal contract...so he can't legally or ethically do what he wishes with the pictures.

It would be the same if you had a photo taken and the photographer wanted to use the picture for a catalogue or website, he cannot legally do so without the consent of the persons involved. The photos involved are only the photographer's property to reproduce/print not to distribute.

Just MY two cents.

Well I think that it takes a real lowlife to pull that on Jared no matter how you take it.


And this guy is on another forum posting that I have become a 'tool'. I guess cops are considered 'tools' to him also when they bust bad guys lol.

I am waiting to hear back from Jared.
