Maybe something in the forum is resizing them for some users? Try clicking on the links to see the image directly?

Your pics are way too small to tell anything, no matter what I do.

But, I would say, if you are seeing some sort of sore or wound type thing down by or on the tail and you know your snake did not get all its skin off in a shed, most likely what you are seeing is an injury that resulted from that, those types of things can cause them to lose part of thier tail due to constriction by old skin. A friend of mine has a ball who lost part of his tail b/c of an injury caused by the skin not coming off all the way. I cant guess about its belly, the pics are just too small.

My advice to you, would be get your snake to a vet b/c if you are worried about infection, it might be... also, it is for this very reason a good one.. to look over your snake regularly so you can catch times when shed skin dont come off all the way so you can prevent this.

ok, I was able to view the pics by saving them and using a photo editor to magnify the pics....

the tail looks as if it is an injury due to shed skin not coming off- the end part from the cloaca on is effected... and the belly looks like scale rot or a burn....

to those reading this..the belly has purplish or red track mark looking markings, it is definately an injury of some sort...

GET YOUR SNAKE TO A VET IMMEDIATELY! As there is not much we can do to help you on that.

Furthermore, please evaluate your husbandry practises and try to figure out what you can do to prevent from happening again should your snake come out OK after this. If it is a burn, you need to fix the problem so it dont occur again... if it has belly rot, you may need to ask yourself how clean your snakes home really is because most scale rot is caused by a dirty environment.

How long have you had this snake? Can you tell us about your cage, heat, feeding, substrate and cleaning practices, so we may help you fix this problem so it does not reoccur later?

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you didn't know what it was in the first place, I'm not sure you have really developed the "eye" to decide whether or not your snake is "better" or "happy."

You need to take your snake to a vet.

From what jehanne said about the coloring of the belly. As having direct experience with thermal burns this sounds like what that could be. That happened to me becase the UTH in the tank did not have a thermostat on it and got to 120 degrees and pretty much was cooking my snake. These burns can claim the life of a snake if not taken care of QUICKLY and then take future steps to prevent it.

Also i have herd that people's snakes do get a pinkish coloring right before shed, this could be it too. But don't wait to long to see if this goes away.
