Anyone having a responce with Top Shelf Exotics?

Hi yesterday morning I got a responce form top shelf and then I emailed them back right away. I still havent gotten a responce. Is it usually liekt his with them? Thank you.

Chris at Top Shelf has an excellent reputation Andre. I've haven't had the opportunity to purchase from him yet but he was the first person I met online when I first got into ball pythons and he was very helpful to me.

It's probably just a busy time for them right now but I'm sure they will get back to you. Sometimes a bit of patience is called for. These folks get a ton of email every day (I'm sure Kara and Adam can attest to that) and wading through it on top of all their other daily husbandry duties as well as running a business and finding family time......well it must be just crazy some days.

A day or two or heck three or four isn't very much time to wait for a response in my opinion. Personally I'd rather someone I want to buy from takes a few days to get back to me with a good email answer than dashes off something quickly just to get me outta their in-box LOL.

This time of the year Andre is often times VERY busy with breeding season and all. Please be patient, I am sure Chris will get back to you.

Well Andre the fact is it's a supply and demand business and you aren't always going to get the snake you want if supply is short and demand is high.

If you are that concerned I believe TSE has a phone number. Perhaps a phone call will get you a speedier answer to your enquiry about a particular snake.

Yes it is very reliable. Look on the BOI www.fauanclassifieds.com I think all they have is good things about them out there.

Go to the BOI, you can do a search there even if your not a paid member.

I did have a number at one time but can't locate it right now. I do see on their website that they prefer correspondence by email so that everything is in writing so I can only suggest you give them a bit more time to respond to your enquiry.

Everyone has different levels of customer service. Some people respond promptly, others take a little bit of time. There are some people out there that don't even respond at all to emails.

FWIW, as a breeder, breeding season is my slowest time of the year ... sales are slow, snakes are doing their thing on auto-pilot, feedings are reduced, etc ... The summer time when the sales are hot and my collection doubles or triples from all the babies is the busiest time of the year around here. ;)

Geesh Adam with the numbers of snakes some of you breeders manage I can't imagine anytime of year is ever quiet LOL. Must be all relative I guess.

Breeding season is a good "break" ... you pair the snakes up and LEAVE THEM ALONE ... most of the babies from the previous year are moved out ... the phone isn't ringing like it does when stuff is hatching ... it's a lot different than the rest of the year.

I currently have an order pending from TSE. They were great to deal with prior to the sale and answered all my questions. Since then I have asked them a few times for pic or two with no success. They have sent me an update here and there so I know they haven't forgotten me. They have a flawless reputation on the BOI and it's cold here in MI (even though it's been a very mild winter, but the lows are still close to or below freezing) so I'm trying my best to be patient. I just wish they'd send me a pic so I know what my girl looks like. So is there a point to my post? I'm not sure myself, I just thought I'd share my experience with them so far.
