    New homes
Hey guys! So, today was a busy day... I reassembled the rack that I bought from Jtman, and moved all the little guys into their new homes they're all checking things out right now. Some pics:

And this is now the view from my desk. The rack is right up against it, so when I'm working I can look over watch them... oh, the distractions ;)

    Thanks so much Jared!

Does the RTB need the same temps as a ball python?

Yeah, they should sell those things with warnings!

Nice rack! Only on a ball python website can you say that and not get slapped! LOL

Seriously though, that's a very nice looking rack. JTMan, did you design that yourself?

It looks really good.:) Great job on the design. Seems like the bp's have plenty of room to stretch out. I didn't see any holes for humidity? How's that working out for you?

Yikes; I thought by your title that you wanted new homes for your snakes! Nice setup you have there; takes up alot less room than my tanks!

unfortunately I cannot take credit for the design. I got the plans from a website. The link is on my computer which is currently not working properly. Im glad you like the rack Lynn! I will build myself another one or 10 when i get into a bigger place!

I can't imagine this style rack being easier or cheaper to make than a simple plywood construction rack.

What was your total cost on this?

    Re: New homes
thats very similar but thats not the site. I had to pay out the butt for those iris 110 boxes having them shipped to me. They were about 100 shipped. The lumber and hardware was about 80 bucks. The 110 boxes are bigger than any comercial racks that i see offered. They usually use the iris 70 i think it is... It was a fun project, my new one at the moment is building a viv with rockwall for my new beardie!

$80.00 doesn't sound horrific, and I do like the sliding rails. While I think I still prefer a plywood rack, it would be easy to incorporate slides into it.

    Thank you for the pics.
