I went ahead and merged the two threads together. I completely agree with Smynx. They are absolutely irresistable as babies!

How cute :)
Keep these pics around, to compare your snake with in a few years when he is huge!

My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts but I went out and bought a scale so I can keep track of how big he's getting.....he's starting to get more comfortable...cruising the cage at night...and my two cats are so freaked out by it.....LOL

Awww, gotta love the babies! They are so cute when they're little! Seems we have several members that used to afraid of snakes that are enchanted by their ball pythons!

Re: Ziggy (pics)
How old does he/she (yeah I'm not really sure of his/her sex) look to everyone? The guy aka a**hole at the pet store said he was around 6 months or so. I'm assuming when I take him/her to the vet...they can confirm the sex and approximate age?

Re: Ziggy (pics)
The vet should be able to probe Ziggy for you and perhaps guestimate age. :) What a cutie! I figure all a snakephobic ever needs is to meet a sweet snake up close and personal and they'd fall in love. You're living proof!

Re: Ziggy (pics)
Well we weighed Ziggy last night and he was 127 grams....that sounds really small to me....should I be concerned? We are taking him to the vet next weekend and he's been eating good and out and about cruising the cage at night (of course he's got the cat so freaked out).

As long as he gets a clean bill of health from the vet and eats for you, his weight is fine (since it's hard to guess the age - they all grow at different rates).
When I got Kashmire, he was just 70 grams.

I feel much better now! Thanks! How much does Kashmire weigh now and how old is he? Also...how often do you weigh him?
