    Airbrishing realistic flames (dialup warning)
My boyfriend has been airbrushing flames lately, and getting pretty good at it! Here's a pic of the helmet he did; he wants to do this as a side project to earn a little extra $$. Ya think there's a market for this?

    Hey, that looks REALLY nice!!

It would help if he could airbrush more things, but he could probably find things to airbrush flames on and maybe sell them on ebay or something.

That looks really, really good! I don't have a bike myself and need these things - but if I did and saw it alongside others - I'd definitely like it - it's really stunning.

Thanks guys. He also painted his snowmobile, but it was before he got really good at it and he wants to repaint it next spring/summer. Although, we have been getting NO snow here lately which is really unusual. It was nearly 60 degrees last week!!

Is that guy always painting something? :) I like it. He has real talent. As for the weather...tell me about it. But it was fricken freezing yesterday. I had to change all the snake's bulbs to their "really really cold" wattages. I'll probably end up changing them back soon to the "somewhat cold" wattages. Gotta love weather in Western NY...

Very impressive! He's definately got some talent there.

And there is TOTALLY a market for this stuff; I got to school for it :) I haven't attempted realistic flames yet... our air compressor died the other day, and this week we're doing old fashioned gold leaf truck lettering to get away from the air brush for awhile. Maybe when the new compressor arrives I'll give it a shot, I know it's difficult!

    That's great Gin!
Tell him congrats on the talent.
It would be great for me Win and Griff to get some matching helmets for when we go out mountain biking and climbing.
Maybe I'll ship you over some in the summer with a little loot...
Griffin and Win would love something like that.
I would definatly think he could make some good side money at doing that kind of stuff.

That would be great! What Mark was thinking of doing, is just having people ship their helmets over like you mentioned; then he could paint them. This would be better than just buying a generic helmet and painting, cuz the customer would know his/her helmet fits good.
I did make up a corny name for them... Hell-Mets!
