and my friend sweats my balls, lol, so he bought Earl http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...26_05_1632.jpg
Here is my enclosure, The escalade ended up in there because my dumb @@@ let the snake crawl in it 1 night and it got WAY stuck, so it got swiftly taken apart, and now he uses it for hiding and shedding

    Welcome!

Nice setup, but make sure you keep an eye on the humidity in there. It looks like one of those guys had a bad shed. Glass enclosures are notorious for humidity problems. Search the forums here for suggestions on how to maintain proper humidity in your enclosure.

Yup, he actually went through 2 sheds that were about as wrong as it could get, thats when I starting sourcing the i'net trying to correct what I was doing wrong, that (new, bigger) water dish, and putting it in the middle helped bump the humidity to stay 55-60, (once I learned I needed a hygrometer)
There is bedding, it is a XTRA long tee shirt, something 50cent would rap about, I had access to a whole case of them, so I opted 4 them, they make 4 easy disposal cleaning. I will be switching to Aspen or cocanut bark when I find it, do u thing the t-shirt is fine 4 now?

Switch to newspaper or papertowels. T-shirts can harbor bacteria and other organisms when wet. Also go through the caresheet here and if you have further q's do a search on the subject. Chances are, it has already been discussed before :)

Just on a side note there about Tshirts. I dont know if this wirks for BP's, but in the RTB forums I frequent they say t-shirts will help cure nippy snakes. They say to place a used t-shirt in a RTBs enclosure for a week or so, if it's nippy or strikes you. This will help it become familiar with your scent. I don't know if this would work for BPs or if this is a good practice or not. I would not use it as a permanent substrate though. I do like the enclosure though.

thanks, I had someone say the same thing about the scent. I wont be wearin one of these particular tee's tho, I am 6ft even and it would come to my knees, easily.

never thought about the bacteria thing, it does get changed weekly, but I will def be upgrading substrate asap.

I never thought about using plastic models as hides....ooooo....now the possibilities are endless!

I've got a 350Z I did pink that could be very hot Cleo action (if I gutted the model, O.o!).

its actually a die castmodel that used to fulla tv's and had spinners! lol, but was given to the snake when he got a lil "stuck" in it one night and had to be taken apart.
