Did anyone read the news this morning. e-bay will have a two headed albino rat snake up for bidding. This snake is 6 years old and will be going for $150,000. I have never seen a two headed snake before. This opens up so many questions.

It is a rat snake, and the St. Louis zoo and aquarium is selling it

I merged these two, since they're about the same thing. :D

If you read the article.... it says it will be on reptileauction.com .

Ebay does not allow the sale of live animals such as mammals and reptiles, but they do however allow bugs, fish and live plants.

Jeanne, sorry for the wrong auction site. I just glanced at my yahoo home page and the breif description said will be auctioned off on e-bay. After I had time to read the article I say you were right. Thanks, I hate to pass on wrong information.

When I worked at Serpent Safari, a man offered to sell us a two headed king snake for $20,000. A bargain. :P

i seen two headed snakes befor but not a rat snake

ya really, what would the heads do if they both wanted it???

yea they are really cool to see live.i dont live far from st.lois,mo. one year they had a show in my towm of two headed rat snakes.they are very rare.but anyways.i asked that quistioned about which one gets the mouse and he just laughed and said which ever one gets it first.go figure..lol

I know it has nothing to do with a snake but i saw a siamese(sp?) twin red-eared slider live. it was awesome.
