Re: Karma
So cute! I love the second pic especially, what a pose ;) Slowly stretching out like she's not *quite* sure she wants to unball but is too curious not to. Love the name also!

Re: Karma
she is beautiful. i love her pattern and color. thats cool how you put lots of leaves in her enclosure. it looks all natural and stuff.
-
Re: Karma
The way she's posed with her tail there it looks like she's eating a mouse hotdog, lol! :D That's adorable!

Re: Karma
haha yeah it does look like a hot dog... wow

Re: Karma
i love the end of her tail poking out in that last shot LOL
i have a question... is it safe to put leaves from outside into their enclosure or do you have to worry about bugs and stuff? (since we boil or bake driftwood or rocks before adding them to the viv)

Re: Karma
Hrm, I've thought about that and looked around here for some answers. Didnt find much.. I haven't seen any bugs in her tank or on her and it's temporary while I'm home. She has a much bigger cage with jungle bedding stuff at school.

Re: Karma
No such thing as too many pictures! I know when Gomez gets here, after he's settled in, *many* pics will ensue. It's good to be trigger happy with a camera ;)

Re: Karma
I would think you have a good chance of brining in some unwanted creepy crawlies. Have you tried baking the leaves? At the lowest temperature for 30 minutes or so, on a cookie sheet? I would keep a very close eye to make sure it's not a fire hazard. You could always use crumpled up newspaper, and that way you wouldn't have to worry about any bugs. You never know what eggs or bugs are on the leaves just waiting for it to warm up, but of course that's just my opinion. ;)

Re: Karma
Thanks, I'll look into that :)

Re: Karma
i wonder though... if baking won't make them even crisper and kinda fall apart?
*dust in the wind* kinda stuff???
-
Re: Karma
Yeah prolly... meh. I'll just replace them with something else :)
-
Re: Karma
if you want safety... the crumpled up newspaper works really well (from what i've read on this forum)

Re: Karma
Thank you. That's what I changed it to for now.

Re: Karma
;) sounds like a good choice :)

Re: Karma
You can never have too many pics of your pets :D Awesom pic of her eating and I love the classic ball pose she's in in her last pics. She's very beautiful - was she out in the garden in the first pic? I love the leaf idea too - so much I think I might copy you ;) I guess most leaves are "safe".

Re: Karma
heh, i feel its safe enough. the first pic is just in the back yard. im home with my laptop so i dont have many pics on here. i usually just use my reg. desktop. :) I was gone for like 2 days and missed her SO much. i know she missed me too :)

Re: Karma
I know exactly how you feel - I miss Emily when she's having her 48 hour rest after feeding :(
