    I need identification help!
A while back I bought a female ball python listed as a "pastel bongo". I was fairly new to owning ball pythons and going through the morphs and learning about all of them, but I knew right off the bat that she didn't look bongo to me. Several breeders agreed that she definitely doesn't appear to be bongo at all, but none can agree on what else she may be aside from obviously the pastel. I've gotten responses stating maybe she is pastel enchi which I usually can spot super easily but with her I am just not sure. I've had others say just pastel, some say disco pastel, and a few others. What are your thoughts? It's nagging at me because her blushing is very prominent (yes i know this CAN happen with single gene pastel but ive seen it rarely.) And she just seems different than the pastels I've seen in person and on MM. Thoughts?? Bare with me while I figure out how to insert pics of her 🤣

I can't figure it out. But I do have pictures of her on my profile.

Sadly when I asked they told me they couldn't remember and go through too many snakes to keep track, so then it makes me think even more that they just snapped a few morphs together and called it good. Pastel bongo looks much different than she does. Throws a crazier pattern lol

Almost looks like there's some enchi in there.
I honestly wouldn't be able to say much as I'm not really well versed on bongo

A few breeders had said the same, that she was enchi but I felt I couldn't be sure because other breeders angrily insisted she wasn't [emoji1787] if you look on MM and Google at pastel bongo they throw some crazy different patterns.

Yeah , looking at bongos the pattern can get pretty crazy. But with enchi, sometimes it can tame it down and give some patterns more of a banded feel.
Here's a enchi pastel bongo on MM right now. Almost looks like yours if you give it time to grow and brown out a little with age like your gal. Yours still has some gorgeous blushing along the back though. Regardless a pretty girl. =D

Oh yes, she definitely is. I had/have a fear of snakes [emoji1787][emoji1787] my boyfriend convinced me to get one ball python from a rescue because he's obsessed. And not a baby either he threw me into the deep end and got a 5ft 1900g big boy, I quickly became obsessed and got this beauty and she's my love lol we now have 5..[emoji1787] due to MY obsession and not my boyfriends [emoji1787] I have a mojave female and a pastel sugar male as well as our normal male rescue and a bamboo YB that i bought for my sister in law but had to house him again for a while. Love them all but I have a bond with Nebula more for some reason.

At first glance she looks a lot like my Asphalt Enchi Pastel, but her blushing is a lot stronger. Some more pics would help, especially if you can get her to stretch out a bit to get a good view of side pattern. Belly pic might be useful too.

I would agree that Disco Pastel is a likely candidate. Disco behaves a lot like Enchi as far as the eye stripe and cleaning up side pattern, but throws a lot better blushing like your girl vs mine.

Thank you! Let me see what I can get, she just ate last night so I won't be able to get belly pics but I may be able to get a few side pics if she will let me reach in and clear her enclosure without getting too stressed out :)

No rush, you can always wait till she's let her meal settle more and I can look then.

It's not much to show her sizes but I did find this picture of her sides and I think I have one of her in the sunhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3afd0ebc78.jpg

Here's another one I had been sent, her belly is white completely if I remember correctly lol we do belly checks but I've got 5 bellies to look at so it's hard to remember who all has spots and who doesn't [emoji1787] https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...02fda173ae.jpg

Disco would be my first guess still, and with that little bit of the belly in that photo I think it's safe to say YB complex isn't in the mix. She has an incredibly clean pattern so perhaps some of the non-morph genes in her are helping that along.
