Early Christmas....

Me and Katie's families celebrated Christmas this weekend (Katie has to work on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve) so we had a very nice trip to South Louisiana. I was waiting til the actual day to give Katie here presents but she surprised me this weekend :D

My wonderful wife gave me a new digital camera and a pastel ball python....so I made out pretty well. I guess she figured that since I gave her an engagement ring last year.....she needed to do something special for me this year....ha ha...I have had a big grin on my face all weekend (and still do) :D

I hope everyone else is having a good Christmas Holiday Season.

Daniel, thats totally AWESOME! How sweet of Katie. Congrats on your new pastel. Cant wait to see pics! By the way, which cam did you end up with?

I was already shopping for a camera and the one that I had decided to get was a Sony DSC-H1. Katie saw that I had written that down and bought it for me.

She also went to EbN and picked out a pastel too (oh ya...and I got that neat bp calendar also)....I don't even have an enclosure set up for it yet so it is still there...here are some pics:

Geesh Ken! That sort of obvious sucking up NEVER works with wives! I should know....now here's the clue to getting your way (the women will now gang up and kill me or take away my Wive's Union Card or something)...so pay attention...

1. Honey you should sit down and have a piece of cheesecake. I swear you are just fading away you've gotten so slim this last year! (whip out from behind your back a chocolate cheesecake and a fork)

2. Sweetie, you are just doing so much with the kids and the holidays, I sent the kid's over to mom's house and made you a bubblebath. (whilst she's in the tub you have therefore more time to cruise the snake forums/breeders and see what's available)

3. You know dear Bob (or Dave or Jeff) left his wife for that tramp. Aren't you glad I'm so focused on my snakes that I'm always home! (this one only works if she actually wants you underfoot of course LOL)

oh jo those were soooo obvious... at least you only gave away those ones. LOL

i'm not getting anything herp related but i am getting exactly what i want this year... normally we don't exchange gifts but i found an amazing gift for my hubby so he decided to get me something as well. so, i told him where to go and what to buy LOL and every day he comes home and says, "don't look honey... i have that puzzle you told me to buy" LOL and then he hides it in my closet hahahahahaha

how funny is that? so i'm getting a drum - for my meditation group... i can do some drum stirring so i'm VERY excited about that... some nag champa incense since i'm all out... and a gift certificate for a woman who does reflexology, EFT and massage... and i get to pick what i want... OH YA BABY THAT'S THE STUFF I WANT!!!

i'm so excited... and i'm trying to convince him that i should get them all today, since it's yule and we're pagan... but, he's decided to wait for the christian christmas... oh well, at least i get them soon!!!
