Manchester, NH Reptile Expo - Tomorrow - Sunday October 3rd
Late notice, but we decided today we will be going to the New Hampshire Reptile Expo in Manchester tomorrow with our niece Meghan.
If anyone else plans on being there and wants to say hi - please feel free to post here or PM me and we can try to say hello.
I'll post some pics after the show in this thread as well.

Uh-oh, here comes temptation! ;) Have fun!

Shhhhhhhhhh. Don't say the "T" word!
Katie's coming with me so that should keep me out of trouble. :).
She's never been to the NH show and neither has Meghan. Should be fun. Plan to do a little leaf peeping too.

I think it's a New England term for checking out the leaves in the fall as they change colors. Of course, my family is known for messing up these quotes, so it might called something else by others.
Basically, the leaves have started changing colors from green to orange/yellow/red and we want to go to some pretty places and look and take pictures. Should be interesting as we drive north from CT and the farther north we get the leaves should be getting more fall colors. Just started changing here in Northern CT.

Oh, okay, I'm much further south than you, so our trees are still pretty clueless. It didn't occur to me you were talking about "fall", lol. :rolleye2: Thanks!

Hope you have fun! :D
Meanwhile I just found out earlier today that the local reptile show for this month happens on the very same day that we're supposed to have a family birthday party for my niece. C'est la vie. Probably for the best though, I should only go to one if I have an enclosure at the ready at home, just in case. :P

You guys... I had to come. He has an open tank... 1111[emoji1787][emoji2957][emoji13]
And yeah, I've always heard it as leaf peeping. Actually my host daughter from Germany was super excited to be placed in CT so she could see the "famous leaves". Of course everything was "famous" for her.

Nice scenery. :) How's it going on the "tank re-fill"? ;)

Hey, speaking of "leaf peeping", I just happened to see this on the weather channel: https://weather.com/news/climate/vid...h-leaf-peeping

No tank refill. We got some shirts and some artwork/prints.
However, turned into a very expensive trip. I hit a large object off a car or truck on the highway coming home (wheel hub or rotor etc.) and blew out my tire and possibly damaged my car. Had to change the flat in the rain and 60 miles from home. Not a great experience. I'll have to deal with the tire situation today and have the car checked out.
Luckily, no one got hurt and we were able to get off the road quickly. However, really put a damper on the day.
I also forgot my camera and the show was okay, but nothing crazy stood out to me. Saw some cool animals, but nothing I don't have or needed to have. My buddy Gil at Boakings (who I got Behira and Jeff from) had some neat Boas, but again, I have 3. Steve and Leapin Leachies had some awesome Rhacos, but I have 2. My friend, Adam, from Harris in Wonderland, had some cool animals as well. However, he's close by and anything cool he has or I might want I can see 30 minutes from my house.
