Am I missing something...?
Randomly browsing Morph Market and hit the most expensive tab just to see what crazy combos there are to look at, and at the very top of the list I instead saw, this?

How in the world is a double het normal asking for 40k? And it's not like the hets are super rare genes either. Very puzzling. :confusd:

(And I'm not saying THIS snake isn't worth it, but it sure wouldn't be to me, & obviously it's not to you either.) Some sellers ask "for the moon" because they can always come down, but if they price something too low, it's hard to try to jack up the price later.
Oh I'm aware of such practice. It's just that this is such an extreme case to the point of bafflement. Even the results of those two hets (dreamsicle) goes for a mere fraction of the price. Certainly not cheap by any means but the 2k they go for is a far cry from 40k.
But hey, as long as there are ignorant people with more money than they know what to do with, there will always be those at the ready to take advantage of them.

I’m inclined to think it’s a typo too but who knows. I also believe that any seller and buyer can come to any mutually agreeable terms even if they seem extreme or unbelievable to others. People have paid more for less.
I’m working on a collection of these masterpieces! 😀

Thanks Zig, I needed that!
Re: Am I missing something...?
A typo was my next guess too, since the breeder doesn't seem "off" otherwise.

Apparently the "starving artists" have got it all wrong, they just need to have the mindset of a con artist. :devilish:

I wouldn’t call him a con artist at all. All art starts in the imagination. He sounds like a visionary to me and since beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess somebody else saw and appreciated his vision. I have numerous “immaterial” sculptures and paintings. I haven’t tried selling any of them yet though. Maybe I should put an exhibit together. Let me know if y’all like the piece below. I call it, “Soul of the Mirror.” The original is 50k USD and prints are 1k each with free shipping. I’m offering a family and friends discount of 25% off. PM me for details. 😎🌟
