Baby RTB, with all the fixin's
Hey guys. All right, I'm posting for sale my baby RTB, Severus. Here're some pics... I realize they're not very good, and, if you need better ones, I can try to get some:

    http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...e02/Rusty6.jpg
    http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...e02/Rusty5.jpg
    http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...e02/Rusty4.jpg
    http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...e02/Rusty2.jpg

As you can see, he's still pretty small, and if just a normal RTB. I picked him up from a breeder who didn't want him... Severus has a tiny kink in the very end of his tail, as well as a slightly mis-aligned jaw (the breeder took him from a kid who had handled the mother while she was pregnant, thus, this deformations). These do not limit his mobility, nor his eating, however; he took two fuzzy mice a week ago, with no problems, and shed just two days ago, completely.

Severus would make an excellent pet. His temperament is top notch, and he loves to be out exploring. I had intentions of keeping Severus myself, but, with the geckos getting bigger everyday (and they're going to be needing more room, soon), I decided to put Severus up for sale.

I'm asking $70 for everything: him, his heat pad, his tub, his hide, and his waterbowl (technically, this is an adoption... I want Severus to go to a good home, and will ask for experience with RTB, or knowledge. I do not want him going to someone looking for a free/cheap snake, thus the fee). I WILL NOT ship him this time of year. He is FOR PICK UP ONLY in the Columbus, Ohio area... though I will drive some distance, if you are willing to, as well. Please PM me if you are interested (even if you would like him shipped in the spring... we can work something out).

Thanks, all, and have a wonderful one!

Thanks. He's very clean with little speckling... he should grow up to be a very pretty snake.

Thanks for trusting us to give him a home Lynn! I know we'll be thrilled with him and he's just what Luke has been working for. We know when Rauri leaves for Becky's home, we'll miss him tons so getting Severus in will not only make Luke very happy but help us all not miss Rauri quite so much.

Hope we have an early spring!

AWWUHS! I knew you'd get him Jo. I just love his sweet face, so adorable. I'm sure Luke will be thrilled, and he can have his own experience raising one up by himself(with help of course) :) Congrats!

LOL Luke is so excited he's even setting aside some of his Xmas money for this snake and NOT for yet another Xbox sports game (I nearly fainted when I heard this! I'm old...such shocks are not good for my heart LOL :P ).

Yep Christie I was seriously getting worried the family would go into Rauri withdrawal come spring, so this lovely little male will be a wonderful addition and a great experience for Luke to raise him from a young age. Besides which Becky kept mentioning to me how lovely Severus was and wouldn't he just fit the bill for Lucas and geesh....like I could resist long LOL.

    Jo,

I'm going to try and get better pics of him today/tonight. I found a disposable camera lying around here. I know it's still not great, but, hopefully, they'll be a little better than the crappy cell pics.

You really have no idea how happy it makes me to see how excited you guys are to get this little guy. I really am elated that he's going to a good home... and that I'll still be able to see him grow up ;)

Oh, btw... is Luke keeping his name?

Tried to get better pics, even tried to finally get decent pics of my other snakes. Just wasn't meant to be tonight. More than half the pics weren't even on the film. Stupid cameras. Anyway, here's the only pic that semi-turned out. I know it's really, really blurry, but at least it gives you a good idea of his colors (though he has a lot more pink on his sides than this shows).

I'm getting a Digi-cam for Christmas from my parents, so, hopefully, then I'll be able to get some good pics for you. Sorry it didn't work out. Gimme a couple more weeks :) and I'll get some good ones for ya

Oh no rush on the pics Lynn, whenever you get them is fine...goodness knows I was digi-cam impaired for forever it seems LOL. He looks just lovely errrr handsome!

Not sure yet if Luke will keep the name Severus or pick something meaningful to him. He's still at the "I get that awesome cool snake!" stage LOL. He's so very happy Lynn.

Thanks for all the good wishes folks. We're awfully proud of the kids for wanting to take on the responsibilities of their own personal snakes (and heck I get to have the new albino milksnake and the new bci here and spoil them rotten *evil parenting plan in effect*).

Now Luke and the family will be like Becky counting down the days of winter!

Congratulations, Jo! I've really been out of the loop lately!

Waiting is the worst and the best part of it all! It's fun to look forward in anticipation to our new additions, but BOY is it tough having to wait! LOL

Re: Baby RTB, with all the fixin's
The Sinaloan is doing wonderful, Jamie. Frank absolutely adores him! He gets him out after work everyday to unwind :) We had to buy a new escape-proof top for his home, though... found him in the bathroom one morning, all curled up under the toilet. Scared the crap outta me!

And I'm really glad that this little boy is going to Jo. I know he'll have a wonderful home, too.

Haha..Great to hear he is doing so well. He was definitely always trying to escape but never successfully here.

Right you are! Jo will make a wonderful home for Severus..
