First clutch ever. Would love some Help
This is my first clutch ever. I would love some help in some Morph ID. The breeding is a male Pastel Clown to female Jungle-Woma. First breeding for both she gave me 7 fertile eggs. 1 molded in incubator but I have 6 hatchlings. Four have come out of egg two are on their way. Pictures are from my iPhone. Just having trouble figuring out how to ID Jungle-Woma not a very widely used morph but as an adult the mother maintained such a strong color that I think the morph is under rated.
Any help would be great. Also how can I post pictures

Thanks, Hugsplox, appreciate the help.
Hopefully the photos will post correctly.
I am thinking so far I have 1 Normal, and either 2 - pastels or jungle woma, and 1 Jungle-woma Pastel. All het clown. And then I have two more waiting to come out.

Yep they posted fine. I'm not a morph expert so I'll let others comment on them, they look great whatever they are!

Yea I’m pretty sure about the father. He is a standard pastel clown. The mother is the Jungle Woma. I have a pic of her in ovulation. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...04bf4a2e56.jpg

Not to be a naysayer and I’m not 100%, but are you certain mom is jungle woma? She looks very classic pastel to me and the hatchlings pictured out of the eggs appear to be two pastels, one normal, and one super pastel.

I agree. It was sold to me as a jungle woma. And what I was told was that the reason her color and cleanliness of her as an adult was because of jungle woma. There isn’t much information on the jungle woma. J.K. has a page about it and the potential of it. But that’s about as much as I can find.

Yes it does seem to be that way at the moment. Based on the hatchlings math it does seem to match the genetics calculator with 4-pastels, 1-normal, and 1-super pastel. No one seems to have any idea of any identifiers for a Jungle Woma morph. Either way I’m very happy w my first clutch.

I do think the mother is a pastel jungle woma. I do have one that is a bit of a different shade then the other three that seem to be pastel. 1 I think is a normal, 1 is super pastel and maybe jungle woma in there also. And the other 4 are all very similar. I will need them all out of first shed and do a side by side. Hopefully everyone will be able to help. Thank you to everyone for your advice already.

Hello everyone. Thank you for the help so far. I spoke w a few other people who have worked with Jungle Woma and they get pretty confident that the mother is a pastel jungle woma. The jungle woma is mostly a color enhancer and disrupts the pattern a little. It seems to help maintain color and helps prevent “brown out”. I have a few more pictures after their first shed and first meal. Would love some opinions on genes. Thanks again to everyone so far. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f5bd42b8aa.jpg

1 pastel

3 super pastel

6 pastel possible jungle woma, can't see a lot of the side pattern or headstamp on this one from that pic but it appears just pastel from what I can see
The person who works with them probably can give you better advice than me, but that's my best guess what's going on.
Yea I was pretty much on the same page as you. I was thinking/hoping that the super pastel is also jungle woma. I’m def gonna reach out to someone more experienced in the JW gene. But overall I’m pretty happy w my odds on my first clutch ever. I forgot to mention they are all 100% het clown too.
My pictures are taken with a very old iPhone (6s) so it’s harder to capture. They def look better in person but shout out to Brian Kusko YouTube bc that made a huge difference in capturing pictures w the phone. I def recommend watching this.
