why'd ya pick your nickname?

i'm wondering how you picked your nickname? :confused:

mine was actually chosen cause i loooove the earth, do a lot of recycling.

one of my daughter's and my favorite movies is "to wong fu thanks for everything julie numar" (okay so i can't spell LOL) and there's one drag queen who is collecting 'princess points' and she says, "p to the r to the inc to the ess" - i used to say it all the time and laugh and my mom told me, "you may have been a princess before but now you are grown up... be a goddess!"

so, i am :rofl:

and my avatar is my bearded dragon raphael the day before she gave birth to 23 eggs... she was leaning on her door and looked like she was saying, "any body got a smoke?"

My screen name is....my name...and the year that I was born....

...ha ha...very original huh?

Technically, I didn't pick this name. My mother did 20+ years ago. :P

well when i had my other ball, his name was big. but i gave him to my friend to have as a first snake so he would know how to take care of him. the one i have now is baller. so bigballin was what i went with.

frankykeno is just a play on our last name Franchino and is actually more Mike's nic than mine or one we use for both of us. I tend to use jojo6199 as my personal nic otherwise which is the year I was born plus the year I got online for the first time LOL.

The avatar changes weekly (I have a short attention span and apparently am in love with my avatar making software LOL).

Cujo is the nickname given to me when I was working in corrections 9 years ago. An inmate had hit me and the fight was on. When back up arrived, one of the other officers said that I looked like the dog from the movie Cujo. I guess my face was red and the veins in my neck and face were popping out. Anyway, it stuck and the other officers began barking at me and calling me Cujo.

Mine is just something I came up with way back in the day. Tek comes from a couple of things: my love techno music and all its derivitives and my being a technician while I was in Highschool when I first started my career path in computer technology. Warren is just my last name... :P

Ha, Ha! It's so funny. I'm the oldest in our family so I take a lot of ribbing for being old, but most of my friends are older than I am so then I take a lot of ribbing for being the baby! SHEESH!! I just can't win. ;)

As for my name, it's just the name I gave to my first bp. Tigerlily aka Lily. I was going for the whole beautiful yet wild thing. *shrug* It just suited her. (and of course I like the character from Peter Pan. I tend to like the cartoon characters with attitude. :psychotic )

Well my name is rather easy also.My name is joe and i breed ball pythons:D .I also love burmese pythons as we have a albino burmese python.

Mine was a funny little mistake. I was trying to come up with an email name and my husband said "OH, I KNOW!! How about Wendy Hoo...You know, from 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Wherein I had to let him in on the fact that it was not Wendy Hoo but Cindy Lou Hoo. Anyway, it stuck and the 9 comes from the 19th which is my birthday. :D

Well, mine's from my name and part from a comic that I LOVE, Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, so Danielle(THM), if you haven't read it, it's good stuff, but very macabre.

Well it is a nick name I earned through out highschool from many nights out with Mr. Jack Daniels. My name is Zach so it just kind of fit. 2000 is just a number because when I went to use that as my e-mail someone had already taken it.

For some reason, everyone on my floor in the dorms freshman year called me Lady Whipple (guess Lynn was hard to remember or something) or Lady. And 02 is the year I graduated from HS.

Mine is just the name of my old ball python. I named her after the Shelby Cobra (shelby python I guess) and I just like the name.

My AIM screenname and my user name on some other places is CeruleanSerpent because cerulean blue is my favorite color and serpents are my obsession!

My subtitle 'herpaholic' is self-explanatory.

and rls is a mistake from when i first got AIM it was supposed to be rlh which was right/left hooks cause i was sorta famous for them at the dojo ( i stopped taking but the name stuck) and ever since then i ve used it for most things

Lars is my name, 5277 is the digits you would get if you dialed "Lars" on a phone. It was my first password for voice mail. Comes in very handy when creating unique names.

Mine's a play on Raziel, a character in my first ever PS2 game Soul Reaver. (Raziel was already taken ::( )

Two of my very close friends gave me the name Lira. It is where the word Libra comes from (which I am) and means balanced (which I sometimes am not).

Well, mine's not very fun or creative. Back when I first got a computer in the mid 90's, Bellsouth (and most ISP's at that time) would only assign 8 character user names. It just defaulted to my first initial and part of my last name (Abernethy), so, rabernet. It's easy for me to remember because I can't keep track of multiple user names! I'm also a creature of habit, so if it works for me, I tend to stick with it! LOL

i use the same user name all over the net as well for two reasons. one cause it's simple to remember who i am on each forum LOL (old age mental abilities) and the other is so people can recognize me one forum to another - although that's only ever happened once LOL

i just figured if i used the same user name people would appreciate my sincerity and honesty... but the www is so large, no one ever recognizes me :no:
