    Those needing websites.
Been workin on something this past week. I know that I will never be a reptile dealer, but that did not stop me from making a site layout for others in need. I may turn this into a php based product that would be easy to use so one would not need to learn html or anything else. Let me know what you think. Feed back would be greatly appreciated.

    Acme Reptiles

*By the way, its a fake site. Non of the animals or products are real.*

Awesome idea! Would make it MUCH easier for those of us who don't do html to get a site up and running for our (future) businesses!

    Great idea!

Thanks :) Yes it would be a fill in ur own information and upload ur images just like a forum. If I can keep myself steady and finish this I'm going to release it for free for those who want to focus on business and not worry about learning html and other scripts. Hopefully I can finish it before the end of the month :juggle:

By the way, the color scheme was inspired by a reticulated python

Lol, I just believe in promoting business through open source products. Plus the first one is free, not the ones that follow

Raj it's excellent! What a great idea and a nice resource for us small time folks. Please keep us up to date on your progress. One thing I liked as a person stuck with only dial up service available in my rural area, is that it didn't take forever to load. Graphics are great but some sites are just not workable for the last few of us stuck with a slow dialup connection.

Just make sure you make some bucks bud, your time is worth money too. I for one am so computer stupid about webdesign that down the road this would be well worth a business expense just in my own head banging on the keyboard, frustration level if I tried to do it myself.

Raj, I downloaded the code and the site you have put together looks great. The question I have (and i guess its since i didnt see the original link and it is no longer functioning) is how does this not need html knowledge? These files would definitely need some knowledge to be tinkered with to make something unique. Thanks in advance!!

Hi Jamie, glad you like it. I was going to turn it into a php site so people can upload and edit images/descriptions without having to mess with html. While this project is still in progress, I have some concerns with the secutiry issues of php(if not coded properly). I will have to do some extensive research before I can come up with a secure item that is not vulnerable to sqlinjections and such. In the mean time, the template should be easy to customize if you can download Macromedia Dreamweaver to edit the layout and photoshop to create your images(logos and banners etc.) I will see if I can create a tutorial in the following days to help you out with the customization process. The php thing is still in the way and if that does not turn out to specs, then I will resort to j2ee measures to compensate. Dreamweaver and Photoshop are available for trial use, so take advantage of this offer while it lasts:)

I see! I look forward to seeing how it progresses. I think its a great idea for those who don't want to mess with coding. I kind of enjoy it and enjoy messing around with my site to improve it. Nice job!
