In my opinion, Jim Ignatowski was probably one of the greatest characters ever written and portrayed.

I'm super excited that someone watched the Tudors other than me! I loved Henry Cavill's character Charles Brandon. The series finale flash back scene when Henry sees his portrait always hits me right in the feels.

We did too! My wife and I watch it once a year, but Netflix US is taking it off after the first of the year so we figured we enjoyed it enough to invest in it lol

I love everything ‘true life’ or historical and we “do” Henry Vlll every year at school ( I work with Autistic teenagers) so he’s always intrigued me ..

I realise that they’ve slightly ‘embellished’ his life for TV but it just suited my tastes perfectly..

I was surprised to learn what a sporty guy he was ... he had the best people training him though . I read that nobody would try their best against him when they jousted so occasionally he’d borrow someone else’s armour to get a proper fight !!

They also chose Joss Stone to play the “ugly” wife :)
