    Eastern Indigo has arrived!
Just came in this morning from Chris Daniel. I had to pick up at the fedex hub, and wait 4 months for the federal permit! But he's here and looks spectacular!

Red throat, yep. I believe the breeder sent me a pic of the parents, but I cant find it. They're big tho! Around 8 ft, I think he said.

Yea. I heard they like to move around, so I'll be building him a BIG enclosure. And that their poops are legendary! The breeder has given me very explicit instructions on how to keep him! Lol

Anyway, ate a little fishy today! He was hungry

Always! But some species are definitely much easier than others.

So ferocious! I don't know a whole lot about indago care so this is just a curiosity question, how often do you feed them? From what I've seen and heard they are really active snakes with a high metabolism?

Every 3-5 days of a varied diet: mice, quail, fish, etc. Yes, he's been very active. Climbing around such. So cute.
