    Reptile Keeping Apps
I just switched from Android to iPhone and was wondering what y’all use for reptile record keeping apps. Does anybody use snake keeper, and if so do you like it?

I’ve used snake keeper for a few years now. It’s okay once you’re in a routine of using it, but it’s completely intuitive at first. Having said that, I do enjoy the statistics it gives regarding shed cycles, feeding, and what not.

I like stats and the like but my snake keeping experience has kinda evolved into a very ‘lucid’ thing over the years..

It does indeed get kinda intuitive after a while as mentioned above - mine are all in vivs which enables me to observe their individual behaviour patterns .. after a while you just notice any changes in their particular behaviour ..

I used to feed every 7 days , same time etc but soon realised that snakes are like us .. all so very different. I have Royals that eat every time BUT only after 10 days or so not every week ..

I mistyped when I sent my reply.

The app is *not completely intuitive at first but you get the hang of it rather quickly.

I use Reptile Buddy. Setting it up is a little bit intense but once you get going it's not bad. It keeps track of everything I need it to and more. I have an Android tho so I'm not sure if it's available for iPhone.

    I use iherp.com.

It does everything I need and plenty I don't. But it's very simple to navigate so I'm all for that.

P.S. booooo Iphone! I bought one iPhone and broke two screens in a matter of months. I HATED the phone top to bottom. Literally the only thing I kinda liked was the camera. I ended up paying to upgrade early I couldn't wait to go back to Android so bad.

But, who knows, I know plenty of folks who swear by iPhone. Some even make sure the say "iPhone". Like "call me, I'll have my iPhone on." Just say phone, hahahahaha.

This is my first iPhone, and it’s only been a day, but I already miss my Android. The biggest reason I got it was because AT&T had a great deal going, I’ve heard really good things about the camera, and all my brothers and sisters have been hounding me for years to switch so we can all face time. I’ve got 14 days to make a switch so I’ll play with it a little more. I got them for the whole family and mama bear and baby bear both seem to love theirs.

I heard about iherp but I didn’t see it in the istore.

I think you'll get used to the iPhone Zig.

I use excel for record keeping, but I do that on my computer. You can use excel on the iPhone and I believe sync with the computer as well. PM if you want and I can share my simple template, or you can make your own. Mine only tracks waste, sheds, feeding, and weight, but I do write in if anything is unusual.

I'm just ragging on ya. I just personally didn't care for mine. Same situation though, great deal, everyone saying "get an iPhone". My brother swears by his, bought one Android phone and hated it.

Iherp.com isn't an app, just a website. It's simplicity is what I like. Not much for bells and whistles, but that works for me. I'm a simple man.

Just persist with the iPhone .. I’ve had them from the beginning and won’t have a word said against them .. they’d nit cheap but they work perfectly and I’ve never had any issues with any of mine .. fabulous build quality

Turns out I have an account on iherp that I haven’t used in years. I just input all my critter data.
