    First Shed At Home.
All is well with Kevin and we're moved into the permanent home.

He's eating well, his shed was perfect! It is time to move into the mix, although his cage is still separate from the other 3. He's actually completely at home in the retic's former cage.

The substrate is reminiscent of the reds in the Bredli's natural environment.

He looks great indoors with the new paint!

Outdoors is where he really looks nice. He's hypo, but 50% and I like that because he has the blacks and the "wild type" markings near the lower 3rd of his body.

He was a busy fellow on the rail.

We're full steam ahead and he's already eating large rats.

He's a perfect fit here, and this species needs no extra humidity to shed out.

Winner winner, chicken dinner! You made an excellent choice with Kevin, Gio. Looking forward to his inevitable growth explosion now that he’s eating large rats

    LOL!

    You are to blame brother!

Once we started debating about "our next animals" and you pulled the trigger, I knew I wasn't far behind.

He was 4 feet and 2 or 3 inches 2-3 weeks ago before going blue. That was a fairly accurate measurement with a tape measure.

I'm sure he's added an inch or two since then as we've upsized the prey.

I'll try to get another measurement after another meal or two.

Morelia Bredli, Kevin. Below are pictures of his desert home.

Hopefully they somewhat resemble the true environment pictured here.

So far he's perched far more than he is grounded.

This is a secure animal. He's had no problem laying around in plain view.

I'm so stoked for you!!! I'm glad you found an animal you're really enjoying.

Kevin looks fantastic!! As does his enclosure!! I've got a while before Fernie or Cornell are ready for their "forever" enclosures, but if mine look even almost as good as yours I'll be thrilled.

Kevin's lucky to have found a great home too. Well done, sir! :gj:

    Outstanding sir!
If you're a snake, getting Gio to purchase you is like winning the lottery. :gj:

I'm that ticket that's just big enough to keep and not swap in and let it ride.
