AP Cages for sale - will ship!
I have 2 Animal Plastics model T3 cages ready to go!

    Specs:
36x18x12" perfect for an adult bp, corn snake, smaller boa species, etc.
    Sliding front doors
    Sliding door locks
2 8.5" cutouts on the top (for heat lamps or close up with the inserts which are included)
Built in belly heat (you'll need a thermostat, i used a cheap zoo-med analog thermostat and it worked great)

Each cage is less than a year old, I upgraded my collection and needed the space, so these would be perfect for someone looking for a cage that will maintain proper temps and humidity, makes life a lot easier as a keeper.

With the options I have, each cage sells for $210 ($150+$45belly heat+$15locks) plus shipping, usually around $30-35 according to the website.

I'm asking $325 for both cages (shipped) or $150 for each (buyer pays shipping if you just want one of them).

PM me if you are interested!

with these cages, when you got them new, did you have to screw them together? Wouldn't these cages NOT BE leak proof if they are NOT one piece?

You assemble them together, and then seal the bottoms with silicone sealant. The nice thing about that stuff too, is that it peels right off should you ever decide to break them down.

I have one cage I did not seal(T-20) and it was a huge mistake.. When my others come in Ill have to break that one down and seal it.. They will leak otherwise, so dont be like me,...lol

The buyer sealing them with silicone seems to be an unnecessary step. I would think the manufacturer would include some cut-to-size rubber gaskets of some sort that adhered to the joints where the pieces butt together. That would be nice, clean and very professional looking once complete...

You should run that by the people at AP. They are EXTREMELY customer-oriented and open to suggestions. As a matter of fact, a guy I work with right now is working with them on a prototype rack for a adult boa setup using the huge Iris tubs. And he got that going just by simply saying he liked their cages but didn't have any rack systems large enough to accomodate adult boas.

and oh yeah, the reason they come disassembled is to save you money on shipping. Every try to ship a 4x8' vision cage????

I had no problems sealing the cage with the provided silicone. The black silicone on the black cage looks very nice. IMO it looks more clean and even then silicone beads in most comercial fish tanks. Silicone is also very flexible so when moving the assembled cage you need not worry about breaking a seal or anything. Just my 2 cents
