Hogg island (more pics oh no!)

I'm really going overboard with pics, I know. So shoot me.

Please excuse Diva's nose.. (or lack thereof I should say) she has FINALLY stopped rubbing. However, she has no nostrils :O so that explains the stringy bubbles.. trust me I have gone through three, count them, THREE different antibiotics before the vet finally said it must be her poor nose that makes her whistle when she breathes.

Yeah, well it's actually 'I'm so stupid I rubbed my WHOLE nose off so now every time I need to breathe I have to open my mouth!'

And she MUSKED me! I didn't even know boas could musk. Man it stinks too. I smell like dead something.

That darn snake hates me too (gave her so many shots) every time I so much as open the door to her cage 'HISSSSSSSSSSS'

she's a beautiful girl. it's too bad she decided to give herself a nose job. :rolleyes:

Yah, I hate getting musked meself :bleh: Its unfortunate that they do not understand that we are only trying to help. Can the vet for the lack of better words, give her a new nose to alleviate her having to breath through her mouth?

Well, she's a Diva, and all divas need at least one plastic surgery operation, right? *sigh*

Well, she'll make fine babies sometime. lol I need a male to match her.. she's such a high orange, I don't even like most hogg island boas.

I don't really know if the vet can do anything (without it costing me a lot) I will let her shed a few more times and see if any nostrils appear.

She is a beauty!!! How big is she now?

5.5' last time I checked.

I like how she's not so washed out like most hoggies.

She must be real tense to musk you maybe she wasn't held much,
How did she mange to wear her nose down, some type of screen top, no doubt.
Those plastic cage are great for nosy snakes.

No she wasn't held much before I got her, and she got used to being stuck with a needle every time I took her out before so she's not too fond of me.

When I bought her she had a nose rub (not nearly so bad) then yes, a screen lid made it a bit worse. I moved her to a plastic tub, but the lid had a bit of give to it, so she thought if she kept pushing, she could get out. She made it even worse there..

Finally, now, she's in a boaphile 421D and no more rubbing!

Thanks.. I agree, she's just the all around nicest hogg I've seen. As I said before, I don't care much for the average hoggie, but I just had to have her.
