They're Here!!

Ok, the day has come and finally I am in possession of my new babies! HOORAY! :psychotic :banana: I was a bit excited (ok I was literally shaking, it was better than Christmas!! :clap: ) and dang near jumped the Fedex guy. ;) Finally I've managed to get everyone settled. First there is the pair of het caramels. The little girl was a bit shy and I've still not completely decided on her name. (Anyone think of some girlie sounding caramel candies?) The boy was pretty relaxed and I have named him Turtle. (Yes as in the yummy candy with caramel - see a trend? :neener: ) Now the little pastel boy (Norbert) was the most awesome little dude! He's just gorgeous and on top of that he is the sweetest little fellow. Never balled up, but was just checking stuff out. They are all just the best! (Thank you Adam) Now comes the difficult part of not touching. Already I am seized with a terrible urge to go and grab them, but I'll have to settle for staring at them through the tubs. :oops: Well enough babbling and on with the pics! :D

Thanks everyone!! They were all born in July, and they're absolutely wonderful. Now if I could only hold them. Thanks for the help with the girl name. I like Snick, but I've not decided for sure. I've come up with Twix, Rolo and variety of others but never Cara(mel). That's not bad either, thanks Daniel! Oh well, I better decide quickly before the kids decide to name her something silly!!!

FLAN is right - but doesnt soudn all that applicable.

They look wonderful Christie, you must be thrilled beyond belief to finally have them home. Isn't the packaging and record keeping that Adam does amazing! I was shaking opening up Malachi...I just can't imagine how thrilling it is to open up 3 babies at once!

I just got the biggest complement on little Norbert. My HUSBAND actually like him, and he's not impressed with any of the snakes. Well see how he likes it when I hopefully have some nice caramel babies!! ;)

As for that poor little nameless girl.... I do kinda like the name Carmella, and shortening that to Carma. That's a very definitely possibility. Thanks mr python! :handshake That one might just win. It kinda fits her, but I'll give it to the end of the day to see if it sticks. :D

Oh no way I'm gonna make him dress like Boy George. He'd do it, and then proceed to take us out to dinner or something in public. EEK!! NO WAY!! It's bad enough when he wears those shirts that are so bright they almost glow. (He's known for his shirts at work!! :oops: )

Now as for how many times I've checked on the new guys? (Where's the halo smilie?) It's not like I spend hours a day staring into their tubs. They are pretty baby snakes. We peeked at Malachi tonight and he hissed a bit but I'm not allowed to touch him yet. He's very cute too.

Wow! Beautiful babies!! Aaaand I just realized I take delivery on my boy this morning @ 9. Wooo Hooooo!!!! :banana: :banana: I can't wait to finish my work shift and head home!!!! When I got Baby, I didn't know about the waiting period. (Ignorance is bliss!) but now that I do, it IS going to be sooooo hard to not handle him. *sigh* :(


My earlier attempts failed (sorry Rob!) but now that I'm in a home where I can continue my interest, I'm going to work on enjoying my pets...maybe eventually breeding for that Pied and the Albino that I'd kill for ! :laughing:

Thanks. I liked Pixie too, but it just didn't fit her like Carma did. :D
