    Banana update! [emoji529][emoji529][emoji529]
A couple of the bananas I hatched have shed, I'll add the photos of them as they shed too. Theres 2 pics of each snake. Pictures don't do them justice at all either!

The first one pictured is a definite hold back, its stunning! I believe it is a banana mojave enchi pastel? Or just a banana Enchi mojave

The 2nd is a banana pastel Enchi and boy is he gorgeous in person!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...90048906cd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7d88734ba6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e599a2a58b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3528601b85.jpg

    gorgeous!

i think the first one is a Banana Enchi Mojave. very colorful but it doesn't look like it has the lightening/blushing the 2nd one has.

Here is the pastel banana, He's super pink/orange on the sides, and a very bright yellow dorsal. it's hard to get the colors to show up in pics, especially when using a phone camera and its cloudy xD lol

And the only non banana from the clutch is a little mojave girl, she looks just like her mom. Beautiful!
I still can't believe how colorful bananas are as hatchlings. Now we just need to figure out what morph needs to be added to the combo to get them to hold those orange and purple colors into adulthood :)

DG obviously makes everything better ;) but will it help bananas hold color into adulthood? It's actually got the best potential I can think of because it is one of the only morphs that adults look as good or better as adults. I've never seen an adult DG banana but now I'm really interested to find out. Might just need to add banana to my DG project :D

As beautiful as he is, when I add anything to my recessive projects, I like to start with a het at the very least. It saves quite a few years and is worth the extra money to me.

I do have to say though, hes one of the prettiest pastel bananas I've seen, I'm sure you won't have any issues finding him a home :)

Now if you decide to keep him and put him to your DG girl, I might just be interested in one of those babies ;)

Wouldn't the freckles just be white instead of black? I don't think I've ever seen what an albino banana looks like, I'm sure it's had to of been done by now but I don't follow albino, it's not really my thing.

But to be honest, I can't tell what DG is doing to banana from those pics, they kind of just look like bananas to me. Having one to look at next to banana would be helpful but I'm more interested in how an adult DG banana looks because that's when DG shines but also when most bananas just look yellow with freckles. It would definitely be cool if the DG gene at least helped bananas to hold their contrast into adulthood.

considering that Banana's are born w/o the freckles, i doubt that they would come in at all or would not be noticeable as it would be white freckles on a white background (freckles on a lavendarish-brownish background on a reg Banana). i have seen reg Albino Banana's but they have all been hatchies and just look like normal Albino's.
