Tyson shiny and new...

Here are a few of Tyson. He shed out yesterday and looks fantastic. The weather was perfect for an outdoor photo shoot.

Thanks! I've been trying to do one outdoor upgrade each year. I've still got to get the flowers for the front flower bed and side one along the house. I've been slacking.

I'm getting there. I probably took 40-50 or so pics. I only saved 10 or 12. Hahhahahaha. But I'm messing with it, hopefully I get there sooner than later.

He looks awesome! Bright and healthy :) I can see a slight greenish sheen on the dark parts of his patterns in some photos which is really cool

Thanks! He's an awesome snake all around.

He's floating anywhere between 1,000-1,100 grams. He ended his food strike a few weeks ago and hardly lost any weight. I'm happy with his body structure.

I tend to feed on a conservative schedule too, so he's doing well.

How long was his food strike? Mine is 5 yrs old and just went on his first food strike and it’s killing me [emoji30] he still looks good but won’t eat, I have thrown away so many bc I thaw them and then he won’t eat them

This year his was a bit shorter than last year. He went from mid March til the last week in May. Last year it was EXACTLY the same week that he started (crazy how they seem to "know") but he went til mid June.

You're pretty lucky if your boy has never gone on a feeding strike til year 5. That's awesome!!!

It doesn't even bother me anymore. As long as they're not losing weight I don't stress it.

I typically only offer every 3-4 weeks when on a strike. But I didn't even bother trying to feed him until he started peeking out of his hide at night. Once I saw that behavior 3 nights in a row I offered, and he took it right away. I'm gonna feed him tonight since he just shed.

Mine hasn’t eat since probably November, but he looks great, he is active at night but no matter what, when I offer he moves away like he is scared of it [emoji2358] use to he wouldn’t eat white rats so I got him colored, now he turns away at any.....everything is good in his tank, meaning heat and humidity, I’m hoping he eats soon, I’m tired of stressing it [emoji27][emoji27]
