Some recent brown back pictures......

Here are some updated shots of a couple yearling brown backs. Their brown color and blushing spots are coming in nicely. They hatch looking like black backs with a subtle difference but at a year of age, most start to show their brown tendencies.

Are you breeding brown back x brown back this year? If so, I have my fingers crossed for ya that there is a super :D

I'll make the attempt. I hope there is a super form too! I'll also try for brown back to pastel. If they materialize, those will be clutches that will seem to incubate forever!

Joe, I was visiting your site just last week and was drooling over your brown backs. I keep adding to my list of favorite morphs! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I love reduceds, black backs and brown backs.

Lovely, just lovely! Yet another morph to drool over! (hmmmm do those rotten kids of mine really need college funds??? do I really need a new couch some day??? what's so special about a newer vehicle???....*sigh*)

Joe this is such a OLD post I hope you will see it lol.Here is a updated pic of the male I was talking about.I LOVE the look of your Brown Backs and have since the day I saw them on your site.
That is why I was EXSTATIC to have acuired this male from a friend.The female he produced this and another animal that is identicle to this one was a CH female.
We will have to wait till next season to see if and what the super will be as he bred his clown male to her this year and has 10 eggs from that pairing cooking in the incubator right now.
I wish you all the luck on your projects this year Joe and can't wait to see what your outcome is from Brown BackXBrown Back is :D
