Gilgamesh is due for a meal tomorrow...

I'm so excited to feed him again. He ate a 12 gram rat like a true champ and I'm really hoping he'll be a good eater for the most part.
Before I got him, I tried to prepare for the worst case scenarios but so far I haven't had to deal with any of that. I know that doesn't mean it won't happen at some point but at least we're off to a good start.
He's so small though!!! Hopefully he'll reach 100 grams soon (he's 83.4 grams atm).

Thanks! I don't really know, I was told he was a het russo. I'm still learning about morphs and their characteristics (and there's SO MUCH to learn) lol.

Thank you! That's why we named him Gilgamesh, my boyfriend suggested it and I thought the name fit perfectly. He was our favorite character! The inspiration for his character is pretty cool too (a badass king in Mesopotamian history).

Well, it finally happened!!! This little boy had another good meal. Last week he took it inside his hide before he ate it but this time for some reason he dragged it on top of his humidity chamber and swallowed it there. It took him a couple minutes and after he was done he went inside the hide (warm side). I don't know what any of that means (it might not mean anything) but I'm happy that he ate with no hesitation. Can't wait to weigh him in a few days!

Gilgamesh just reached 100 grams!!! he's growing like a weed and his colors are looking very dull + his tummy turned pink so that means he's gonna shed very soon.. I had to clean his enclosure today and took a few pics when he was out, but since he's going into shed I'll leave him be for the next few days. I also made sure the humidity levels were higher so hopefully he'll have a good shed (he even got in his humidity chamber earlier today).

I love photos where they are just poking their heads out of their hide.

I notice my new girl doing that a lot when I am near her enclosure. She just sticks her head out there for a little look, flicks her tongue a bit and then moseys on back into the hide.
