    What a day!
Yesterday was by far the nicest day this spring here in the Minneapolis area.

My wife and I turned on the gas fire pit, grabbed some beverages, put up the umbrella and I even let Jewel (Coastal Carpet Python) out for a deck rail session.

The colors are unreal. the green and the blue. The yard is in top shape.

Jewel is excellent for this type of R&R. She will sit motionless on the rail for an easy 40 minutes.

Such a late bloomer. She's really put on the size.

She could give Wallace (retic) a run for the length title.

I hope everybody else found one nice day to get out this holiday weekend.

    Thanks for looking.

All that grass...what is the matter with you man? You should see my mixed broad leaf mess...you'd go nuts.

It was a wonderful day. I went and looked for some eastern hogs but it was to early, cloudy and the temp to low.

The snake looks great and the view of the patio is not bad for a working man.

Glad you're enjoyed the day friend because today is a washout. I dried 16 mangos, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed and still pacing the rooms but the beverage will take care of that soon enough. :D

I'm going to take some photos of the Pokigron female after next shed. She's of the age (13 or 14) where the tail is loosing red but the darkness filling in on the lats is awesome...I picked her up the other day and it reminded me of change with Rentfro's Pucallpa female. Appreciating the full span of change throughout the years is pretty cool.

    Be safe.

If I lived in a place that was as beautiful as yours I'd enjoy it too! Glad you had a good day!

Your patio & back yard look like paradise, only to be made better by an incomparable snake on the railing. :sweeet: Not too shabby...

That looks like such a beautiful day. Looks like your carpet python was having lots of fun doing railing missions, Jewel looks absolutely stunning in that sunlight. I've always loved how awesome carpet pythons look.

Thanks for all the kind words folks. This can be the best time of year here.

However, today was total wash out like BNS mentioned earlier in the thread. The price you pay for lush green grass and trees is a few washout days.

We have a nice, private yard and I am able to take the animals out without worry.

This fella doesn't mind the snakes, and loves a lazy afternoon on the deck.

I always love your railing pics in the sunlight. The grass looks so good it almost looks photoshopped in.

Looks like a lovely day indeed Gio. You're very blessed. Gorgeous weather, loving wife, beautiful home, cool critters, refreshing beverage, and a great looking lawn (is that zoysia? :)). As long as you're in good health, what more does a man really need? Live your best life amigo! :)

Words of wisdom! I agree with all of them.

I don't need a lot more, and fortunately, the hobbies I get the most enjoyment out of are relatively affordable. Although one could argue there are far more affordable hobbies.

The grass is a mix of Kentucky Blue and fescue.

This is the best time of year for the grass because of all the rain. If I snap a few photos in late July into August, the brown will be creeping in. That part of the yard faces in a westerly direction and it gets a lot of sun.

We have a crew come out and do the landscape stuff. I actually like to mow, but due to time constraints and some wicked summer allergies, I decided to let the pros take the helm on the yard.

4 snakes, 2 dogs, a wife and 2 teenage kids keep tings hopping here.
The other furry friend we have. She's a female pit rescue.

    Maya.
