    Beautiful!

Congrats, Stay in tune with that one. Retics are vastly different from every other species.

They get big fast no matter what percentage of SD/Dwarf they are.

Very pretty animal you have there!

That I am very aware of - as this makes my 5th retic. They are often very alert, curious species - always on the move.

I guess it all depends on your definition of big, and fast. While pure dwarfs may still get to 12-16 feet long. Generally the high percentage(75+%) SD won't get much larger than a pure Super dwarf (6-9 feet), maybe 10-12 feet for heavily fed females.

In his case - it also helps that his parents and grandparents where all in the 6-9 foot range.

Congrats on number 5, I had no idea.

What I meant by "get big fast" is they are a species of rapid growth. SD Dwarf or mainland. They certainly grow to their potential faster than a lot of other species.

I am unclear on who produced the snake. Was it bred/produced by Garret, or was it produced by April and sold through Garret? I saw April's comment which is why I'm curious.

    Beautiful none the less.

He was bred/produced by Garrett Hartle. As Garrett has bred this guy's parents together several times over the last couple of years. While neither the mommy or daddy of this guy are Anery or Purple Albino - they have produced Purple Snows.

So I believe that April is very much mistaken. Unless she possible sold a parent or grandparent to Garrett a few years ago.

How would I contact Garret. I need to find out the cost for the highest % SD I can find. I'd like an albino, or a tiger. I want to fit him/her in a V180

I found Garrett thru one of the python Group - Positive Pythons. Or you can contact him thru his face book page. Still you will likely need to get on one of his waiting lists.

Okay - if I may ask what was the hatch date for the babies you sold to Garrett?

Wasn't trying to get into an argument (you seemed to want to get in with me on fauna in that SD thread), was just trying to provide some background that the gparent exact details weren't known.

The babies started to pip 2/11/19 (this thread/post: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...=1#post2679042)

With most pipping 2/13. The 24th is when they were driven out to Garrett (he got them post shed). AFAIK, there are only two pairs of these parents in the US, one pair here and one pair owned by Eric Lee.
I believe Garrett did a podcast where he discussed the babies as well.

Again, I was just trying to help.

Well - April, I asked about the birth date- because Garrett told me it was about 2/14/19. y

Also are you connected with Richard Bilbo ?

If so then I may have another older sibling of this lil' guy.

If this lil' guy is like my older one - he going to be a stunner, especially right after shedding.

Right now - they are the only two which may be capable of making purple snow SD.

But all of my retics are at least capable of making purple albinos. As have I a male and female which are both 50% Kalatoa 100% het for Purple Albino (siblings), and a 25% Kalatoa Purple Suntiger female.
