What's your next snake?

So, what is the next snake you plan on adding to your collection (don't deny it, you know you want more snakes!) ;)

Other than the two I may acquire from a co-worker, I am looking for a suitable mate for my hogg island boa. I also need (haha need) female kenyan sand boas (albinos perhaps?), because I found out that 'Gracie' is a male! (waah!)

Ok enough about mine, what's your next snake?

I am purchasing two Dumerils today, actually, they are high pinks...Beauuutiful!!!

A friend bought a whole clutch of them and is selling me a pair at cost!! Love it.

Next on my agenda will probably be a pair of Surinams or Guyunas...maybe.

Awesome. I love my dum.. one of the two I may get is another dum.

I love my suri too.. one of the coolest looking 'normal' snakes around.

Yeah, I would like to get a pair of jamps and a pair of super dwarfs.

Lavendar albino jamp.. that's one cool snake.

Im also getting a sanzinia an atb and a breeding pair of ball pythons!!!!

Sanzinia are very cool.. pricey though. Do you like the mandarin or the green phase?

well i want a blue tongue skink, but snake-wise a blood python or a het albino ball python is next. i'm prolly not getting them anytime soon though. my mom says, "no more pets!"

this spring, pieds,pastels,axanthics,xanthics,ghosts,albinos,and Harlequins...And a bunch of other stuff LOL!

I just bought'em!!! And guess what? I FOUND MY CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yehaw. I bought a pair of Dums today. Very Pink!!! I'll post pics soon. I also bought a pair of Beards too...Wow I'm catching up with Shelby. :)

What kind of corn do you want, reptile-girl?

I don't plan on purchasing any snakes for a long while.... but I do plan on holding back a bunch after breeding next year...so next on the list are some possible het pied ball pythons :) Hopefully I get a nice size clutch with a high female count because all the girls will be keepers :D

Not even shed yet. They have just had their first meal. I fell in love with them. I had them probed and I took the last male one, I think he's on top... :)

I'm in the same boat as Daniel...I spent enough this summer on BP's (for a hobbyist). I'm going to keep to just the 6 balls I have now maybe getting rid of one male I have. I am looking forward to attempting to produce albinos from my het pair. Ya there are some spectacular morph's but the albino bp is something when I was just starting that I thought I could only ever dream about so that's my first morph step.

Other than that as my children's python grows I become more and more fascinated with him/her I wouldn't put it past myself to find a mate once I can determine the sex on this little one. ;)

I'd love to add another pair of blackheads & another pair of womas to my collection...more Angolans would be nice, too.

And of course...I'm always on the prowl for a blood or short-tailed that I can't live without. ;)

hmmm, for the first time ever, i'm not sure! i am getting a male pastel and a het hypo female from adam already so i guess those kind of count as my next snakes, but beyond that i don't know. of course there are snakes that i really WANT to get, but can't realistically afford so i can't say that those will be my next snake unless i win the lottery or something. perhaps my next snake(s) will be albino hets that i produce myself this season. now there's a nice warm fuzzy. :D

My next will be a pair of BRBs, I've been trying to buy them, but the people I email from Kingsnake are not returning my emails--rude huh?

Well I just recently spent a good chunk of money(for what I can afford anyway, lol) on my pastel male, so I'm probably not gonna buy much anytime soon. I'm thinking of probably getting an adult female sometime after the holidays to get a small project going(breeding my male pastel to a few females). After that, my next purchase will hopefully be a spider ball...not sure if it'll be male or female yet though, lol. My basic goal is to produce a bumblebee spider. That's about as far as I want to go with morphs currently. Although I'm sure if I'm successful with that, I won't stop there. :)

Oh right im also getting a pair of campina grande rainbow boas and a mate for my girl brb :banana:

After receiving the four I'm getting from Adam shortly (paid for and waiting... somewhat impatiently for Boaphile to finish my rack!! :) ), I'll be getting some het pieds, some het albinos, some het axanthics.. and HOPEFULLY a spider. (yeah.. not some, just one).

Then in a year or so, a bunch of males to go with all of 'em... except the spider, which will be male to begin with.

That sounds like fun. :)

Well the next snake should be here tomorrow! LOL A fantastic 100% het for albino male ball python from our favorite breeder - Adam of 8BallPythons. Then probably next a nice 100% het for orange ghost male ball python. After that as far as balls go...a male pastel from Adam.

As far as other snakes...the middle two kids are saving madly for their female albino Nelson's Milksnake and male het for albino Nelson's Milksnake. Mike would like to get a nice male Black Milksnake (he loves the amazing color change they go through).

At some point we'd love to have a Surinam BCC or Columbian BCI as thanks to fostering Becky's snake we've now fallen in love with someday raising our own larger boa (gosh they are nice tempered big snakes!).

I personally just want MORE ROOM for tubs!!!!!! :P

*snatching up the "houses for rent" ads yet again trying to find a bigger house that won't mess up the snake budget!*

I think I have enough for now :) I enjoy the four I have, and having any more, I think, would make it too much of a chore for me. But I do plan on breeding next year; I love my female's clean pattern and she deserves to be bred :) I will probably sell the offspring; I already have several people who would want one; I will probably keep one though :)

Wha??????? How did I miss that? You're getting a 100% het albino male TOMORROW????? Drooling!!!!!!

I am trading my 2.5 year old female albino hybrid colubrid in for a big sweet beefy black "blood" (Sumatran short tail) 2-3 year old female this weekend at the swap.

I gotta get her tub ready, it's sitting here in the living room. I"ll post pictures when she settles in....you guys might have to wait until I come back from vacation on the 21st though!

I'm a little nervous about her first feeding (just the feeding response from a snake that size), but I'm looking forward to having a big beefy snake around. I don't think I'll ever get anything bigger than a short tail. (Granted, I have a Sarawak short tail, but he's a little baby).

After that, my next snake will probably be another ball. I have this 100% male het for hypo and no het/visible hypo in my collection. No more new snakes this year, and probably not until after tax return comes in and I pay down some bills. Also, I need another rack.

Ah.. I love sumatran short tails. Can't wait to see pics.

I am getting an albino Bp once I am more secure in my new job. Don't care what my boyfriend says, lol it would actually take up less space than a third horse.. but, be much more expensive!

Awhile ago i wanted my next snake to be a sonoran gopher or bull snake becuase they get a little longer than bps or corn snakes.......but i got one awhile ago (by the way its growing like a weed, shed twice and is beautiful !!) so now i guess the next snake on my list would be a female redtail boa or an albino ball python. and after those two i would love to get a burmese python maybe an albino or albino granite (way in the future)
