    Any good Apps for Android?
Hey all! I see that there are many snake care apps (none for BPs specifically tho) listed in the app store but none of them seem to have a very high rating. Does anyone use any kind of app to track growth and such? I weighed Gargamel for the first time today and he weighed 92 grams. I just want to try and keep track of how well he is progressing.

I use SnakeKeeper to track feedings, sheds, weight, etc. it’s okay, not mind blowing but it does what I need it to do

I don't see that in the Android Play Store? are you on Android? I purchased Reptile Scan as I had almost enough saved up from taking surveys google pays you for and I am glad most of it wasn't my money. Total garbage on the phone. Doesn't show info well can't adjust it and have to pay for a Premium plan to be able to add custom fields. ATM there isn't anything good on Android that I've found. I use a custom Google spreadsheet and Form combination that I found on here and remade completely using the ideas the original person used tweaked to my desires.

I used this guide to tweak to my own needs. works great https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...le+spreadsheet

edit: I learned a lot about spreadsheets through trial and error while doing this.

I've been trying to sign up on iherp to try it out for a while, but they have yet to send my verification email. You can basically do nothing without verifying your email...ugh!

Check your spam folder. I signed up today to check it out and it went straight to spam. But the verification link doesn't work for me so I had to email them. Now I'm waiting for a response

Yup it was I there! If you click the link more than once, you have to use the most recent one or else it won't work according to the website. However, the most recent one didn't work for me either [emoji849]

Me too..I'm thinking it's a one man show that I am frankly over with. If you can't even register without a bunch of problems, I can't imagine the site itself is too high of quality [emoji58]

Honestly I just use Google Keep on my phone (Android). It's definitely not fancy but is an easy way for me to keep track of weights. Every snake has its own sticky, with the most recent weight on the top line, so it's just a running list.

Yeah my Google sheets works great. I had a bit of a learning curve while creating it but that was half the fun. I have a quick view of all reptiles one one page that updates as I enter info in the spreadsheet.

I've been using iherp for 10 years, it's great for what I need to track.
Yes, it is a one person show. His name is Aaron Florian, user Aaron
He has a notice there about gmail users having issues.
I'll also make a post that people are having issues with broken links.

Thank you. I figured it would take time for someone to get to it. I will look for the Gmail issue post as that's what I use.

An app? I print out labelled tables on letter sized paper and tape them on the side of each enclosure. As I do things, (water/feed/handle/clean/poop/shed) I just mark the correct column with a date using a pen.

    Apps shmapps!

Ahh but us geeky types like to overcomplicate things and fiddle with it all the time.

I just use the calendar widget on my Google phone. When someone eats, poops, or sheds I put their name on that day and what happened. It's pretty convenient.

one of the things I like about iherp, since I have a fairly large collection, is the dashboard feature. Quick way to stay on top of when everyone was last fed so I know which batch to get feeders out for.

Speaking of that...how often should he shed? I've only had him about 3 weeks but I just want to make sure I stay on top of stuff.
